Subject – LEGAL NOTICE FOR DIVORCE.

Sir,
Under instruction from and on behalf of my client Mrs. Amrita daughter of Mr. Sham
Singh residing at 23, Sector-4, Panchkula. I do hereby serve you with the following
notice, the contents of which are ser forth herein below: -
1. That you were married to my client on 23 rd April, 2018 at Panchkula according
to Hindu rites and ceremonies in the presence of friends, relatives and family
members of both the parties.
2. That after the marriage you and my client lived together as husband and wife
and cohabited with each other at 143, Sector-45, Chandigarh. And out of the
said wedlock of my said client and you one daughter named Vaani aged 3 years
was born.
3. That as my client was serving as teacher in a primary school in Panchkula since
before marriage and told you and your family that she will be continuing her
job even after the marriage, for which you and your family consented at the
time of solemnization of marriage.
4. That however, within six months of marriage, you and your family members
including your mother and unmarried sister started forcing my client for
quitting her job and doing household work.
 5. That when my client refused to do the same the attitude of your family
members become disrespectful and abusive towards her. You were rude and
indifferent towards my client from the very beginning.
6. That you started adopting cruelties, mentally as well as physically, upon my
client whenever my client tried to mend your ways.
7. That my client was facing constant remarks on character, comments against her
family members and abusive attitude of mother and unmarried sister in her
matrimonial house.
8. That these constant quarrels and disputes with my client in her matrimonial
house resulting in her falling in depression and even her performance at work
has been affected.
9. That tired of constant quarrels and the disrespectful behaviour towards my
client in her matrimonial house by you and your family members my client
went back to her parent’s house with her 3 year old daughter on 10 th May 2022.
My client thereafter has not return to matrimonial house.
10. That my client is now tired of this marriage and wants to dissolve this marriage
immediately and my client is not interested to live in with you and also not
interested to give the custody of the minor child to you.
I, therefore, call upon you through this legal notice to execute the divorce deed and
papers etc. dissolving this marriage immediately within a period of 15 days from the
date of receipt of this legal notice, failing which my client shall be constrained to file
appropriate proceedings against you in the court of law and in that event, you shall be
responsible for all costs, risks and responsibilities which you please note well.
A copy of this legal notice is retained in my office for record and further necessary
action.
