SEM 601 CRITICAL REFLECTION PAPER GUIDELINES

Read the articles and write a critical reflection paper on the readings following these guidelines:

A. Contents
1. Create a concise but catchy title for the critical reflection paper, capturing the essence
and focus of the reading reflection.
2. Introduction:
- begin with a brief opening statement that introduces the topics that you have
reflected on.
- clearly state your thesis statement regarding the significance of the topics you have
read.
3. Body:
- describe three positions from the research articles that struck you the most, or you
found most interesting or contentious
- take a position on the issue, discuss whether your position is the same, different, or
has changed after reading the article
4. Conclusion:
- Provide some final thoughts, insights or reflections on the overall significance of the
reading experience
- Describe the impact of the critical reading and reflection on your teaching
perspectives and future teaching practices

1. Write in a clear, concise, and formal academic style.
2. Use the APA citation style for in-text citations.
3. Proofread your paper for grammatical and spelling errors.
