THYROID
You can’t burn fat if your thyroid isn’t optimized. And you can’t know if it’s optimized
unless you do all of the testing. Thyroid testing goes way beyond one test ...so if your
doctor is only testing TSH, you simply don’t know if your thyroid is optimized. TSH is a
pituitary hormone. It’s not a thyroid hormone. We need to look at the most important
hormones for thyroid function, which are: Free T3, Reverse T3 and the forgotten
thyroid hormone T2.

FREE T3 With Free T3 we want to see you in the optimal range, not just the “normal” range.
The optimal range for free T3 is in the upper quadrant of the range... or maybe above it.

REVERSE T3 Reverse T3 is universal with each lab. We want reverse T3 less than 12. If your reverse
T3 is above 12, then you’re not converting your thyroid hormones properly and you

T2 T2 doesn’t have an optimal range because there’s no commercial test for it yet. T2 is
also known as 3,5 diiodo l-thyronine and is naturally occurring in the thyroid gland as
