New York | Washington DC | Virginia | Niagara Falls
DAY1: MANHATTAN
THE FAMOUS TIMES SQUARE
If you’ve never been to New York, Times Square
is a must on any NYC bucket list! From giant
billboards, the yellow cabs, and the hustle and
bustle, there is something quite magical inside of
all the chaos, although we locals try to avoid it.
So, let’s begin your first day here. Start your
Times Square adventure on 42nd St. and 7th
Ave. and just walk around from there.

THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING


Next, head south towards the Empire State
Building. From here, you will be able to see some
pretty epic views of the Empire State Building. You
can totally go to the top of the Empire State
Building, which is really one of the most nostalgic
feelings in NYC.

DAY2: CENTRAL PARK &


MUSEUMS
EXPLORE THE BEST OF
CENTRAL PARK
When you visit New York there will be something
fun and exciting to do. During the visit Central
Park should still be a must-visit! Bow bridge, The
Mall, Belvedere Castle, Umpire Rock are most
attractions of the park. Besides all the photo-
worthy locations in Central Park, other popular
areas are Strawberry Fields, Rowing boats on the
lake.

MUSEUM HOPPING IN NYC


Nearby Central Park, you will find some of the
most famous museums. New York comes in 2nd
place for the most museums in the USA. The
Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET), The American
Natural History Museum are very famous for
Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, and Vincent Van
Gogh Planetarium, dinosaur bones, Egyptian art,
the butterfly conservatory (winter), and more.
DAY3: BROOKLYN BRIDGE &
FINANCIAL DISTRICT
THE STATUE OF LIBERTY AND
ELLIS ISLAND
If the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island are on your NYC
bucket list, I would actually suggest doing this first
and the Brooklyn Bridge after. This is because Ellis
Island closes early. If you just want to see the Statue of
Liberty from afar, you can take the Staten Island Ferry
for free. The statue of liberty is what many tourists
comes to see.

EXPLORE BROOKLYN BRIDGE


One of the most popular places to visit is the Insta-
famous Manhattan Bridge photo location. You can
find it at the cross-sections of Waters Street and
Washington Street. Additionally, you can wander
down cobblestone streets, hang out on the lawns of
Brooklyn Bridge Park, or walk down the piers.
Additionally, you can walk up Squibb Bridge to the
Brooklyn Heights Promenade.

DAY4: WASHINGTON SQUARE


PARK, SOHO & OTHERS
HANG OUT IN WASHINGTON
SQUARE PARK
Washington Square Park is located in Greenwich
Village . You will find free events, people playing
chess, and people just hanging out by the
fountain (a great people-watching spot). You can
also see the views of both the Empire State
Building and the Freedom Tower in the
background. Another popular Square is Union
Square, so you can also consider visiting with a
quick subway ride.

EXPLORE SOHO
From Washington Square Park, make it down
to one of my favorite Neighborhoods, Soho.
From cobblestone streets, top-of-the-line
shopping, art murals, and great restaurants.
You can walk down Spring Street for some of
the best shopping, stop by the Nespresso
coffee bar, or go mural hunting.
DAY5: TRAVEL TO WASHINGTON
DC & EXPLORE
WASHINGTON MEMORIAL &
WHITE HOUSE
The Washington Monument stands at just over 555 ft
tall. There is an observation deck at the top that grants
visitors excellent views of the National Mall.
You can also book a tour of a portion of the White
House to see some of the building’s most famous
rooms.

WALK THE TIDAL BASIN


Walking the Tidal Basin is an absolute must no
matter what time of year you’re visiting, but the
spring and fall are the most stunning. You can rent
paddle boats to explore the basin from the water. It’s
a highlight of your Washington DC itinerary.

DAY6: MUSEUMS TRIP


SMITHSONIAN NATIONAL
MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY
The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural
History is an absolute must for all visitors to
Washington DC. There are over 147 million items
on display that range from marine life to geology
to ancient Egypt. You can spend anywhere from
two hours to about half a day exploring this
museum and there is no doubt that it is one of the
best things to do in Washington DC.

NATIONAL ARCHIVES MUSEUM


Where can you find the true Declaration of
Independence, the American Constitution, the
Bill of Rights, and the surviving copies of the
Magna Carta all in one place? The National
Archives Museum. Here is the only place where
visitors can view the country’s founding
documents.
DAY7: MUSEUM OF AFRICAN
AMERICAN HISTORY
SMITHSONIAN NATIONAL MUSEUM
OF AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY
This museum is a relative newcomer to the National
Mall, opening in 2016. It contains over 40,000
artefacts that trace the experiences and lives of
African Americans from the country’s earliest years to
present day. The museum is expertly curated and you
could easily spend half a day wandering its halls.

NATIONAL GALLERY OF ART


Art fans should prioritize a visit to the National Gallery
of Art. There are two wings: the East Building which is
home to modern art and the West Building home to
classic art pieces. The collection is huge. You could
easily spend a couple hours or an entire day
wandering between these two buildings. Don’t leave
without visiting the rooftop where you’ll get great
panoramic views of the city.

DAY8 : TRAVEL TO VIRGINIA


VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA
On arrival to Virginia, You would start first trip to
Virginia Beach. Whether you like tranquil and
serene beaches, or a more cosmopolitan vibe,
the Virginia Beach area will have a beach that is
perfect for you. Not only are the beaches along
the Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay pristine,
with beautiful blue waters, Virginia Beach offers a
variety of truly unique and unforgettable
experiences.

You will find a plethora of lodging options on the beach and beyond, ranging from
luxury hotels & resorts, to charming bed & breakfasts, and even camping & cabins, for
a more rustic experience. For the ultimate in luxury accommodations, check out The
Cavalier, located on the Virginia Beach oceanfront. This newly-restored Marriott
Autograph Collection property is one of Virginia’s most iconic properties and has
welcomed ten United States Presidents over the years
DAY9: NORFOLK, VIRGINIA
Begin your second day in Virginia by driving to nearby
Norfolk and exploring the Hampton Roads Naval
Museum, an official museum of the United States
Navy, dedicated to the study of more than 240 years
of naval history in the Hampton Roads region. Take a
self-guided tour of the Battleship Wisconsin, one of
the largest and last battleships ever built by the U.S.
Navy, which rests in Norfolk’s waters.

Now it’s time to explore the new and revitalized Waterside District, an area buzzing with trendy
restaurants and entertainment. Dining options are plentiful and you can even indulge your sweet tooth
at Carolina Cupcakery, an establishment recently featured on the Food Network’s hit television series
Cupcake Wars. Spend your afternoon by enjoying a combination of the Norfolk area’s top attractions,
including the Norfolk Botanical Garden (Virginia’s largest botanical garden), the Virginia Zoological Park,
or the Chrysler Museum of Art. Space enthusiasts will love a trip to the Virginia Air & Space Center located
in nearby Hampton, Virginia. Serving as the official visitor center of NASA Langley Research Center, the
Virginia Air & Space Center features a variety of interactive STEM (science, technology, engineering, and
mathematics) exhibits, more than 30 historic aircraft, a hands-on space gallery, and unique space flight
artifacts. Next up, get ready for a night of dining and fun in downtown Norfolk at one of the region’s
popular restaurants, followed by a restful night at one of Norfolk’s many inviting hotels.

DAY10 : CHARLOTTESVILLE,
VIRGINIA
Discover the rolling hills of Central Virginia,
and the quaint, historic city of Charlottesville.
Offering a superb taste of Virginia’s history
and charm, Charlottesville is home to
Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello and the
University of Virginia (both UNESCO World
Heritage sites), more than 30 wineries, and a
charming pedestrian avenue filled with
restaurants and boutique shops.

Enjoy lunch at the historic Michie Tavern, known for its scrumptious Southern fare – the fried chicken is a
must! Then take a short drive to the top of Carter Mountain where you will find an orchard ripe with apples
and peaches depending on the season, plus panoramic views of Charlottesville and the surrounding Blue
Ridge Mountains. If you look carefully, you will be able to see the prestigious University of Virginia,
designed by Thomas Jefferson himself. Next up is a visit to Charlottesville wine country. With more than 30
vineyards and wineries located along the Monticello Wine Trail, the landscape is teeming with grapevines,
just as Jefferson had envisioned several hundred years before. In addition to wineries, you can also sample
offerings from several craft breweries, artisanal cideries, and distilleries.
DAY11: TRAVEL TO NIAGARIA FALL

On arrival to Niagaria, Start your day with a thrilling boat ride on the Maid of the Mist Steamboat. Get up close and
personal with the majestic Niagara Falls as you sail through the mist and feel the power of the waterfalls.

Afternoon. After the boat ride, visit the Cave of the Winds to experience the falls from a different perspective. Take
an elevator down to the base of the falls and walk along the wooden walkways to get even closer to the rushing
water.
Evening. Head to Whirlpool State Park to see the natural whirlpool formed by the Niagara River. Enjoy a leisurely
walk along the trails and take in the scenic views of the river and surrounding landscape.

DAY12 : EXPLORE NIAGARIA FALL

Morning. Explore the scenic beauty of Niagara Falls State Park, the oldest state park in the United States.
Take a stroll along the Niagara Gorge Trail and visit Bridal Veil Falls, one of the three waterfalls that make up
Niagara Falls.

Afternoon: Visit Three Sisters Islands, a group of small islands located near the American side of the falls.
Enjoy a picnic lunch and take in the peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature.

Evening. Head to the Aquarium of Niagara to learn about the diverse marine life found in the Great Lakes
region. Watch dolphin and sea lion shows and explore various exhibits showcasing different aquatic
species.
DAY13: VISIT ICONIC NIAGARIA FALL

Morning. Spend the morning exploring Devil's Hole State Park , a nature reserve known for its scenic hiking trails
and stunning views of the Niagara River. Take a leisurely hike and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings.

Afternoon. Visit the iconic Niagara Falls and take in the breathtaking views from various observation points.
Explore Terrapin Point [94469], a popular spot to see the Horseshoe Falls up close. Take memorable photos and
immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the falls.

Evening. Enjoy a delicious dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls [21304], located just steps away from the
falls. Indulge in classic American cuisine while enjoying live music and a vibrant atmosphere.

DAY14 : RETURN BACK TO NEPAL

Morning. Learn about the fascinating history of Niagara Falls at the Niagara Adventure Theater [21303].
Watch an informative and entertaining film that tells the story of the falls and its impact on the surrounding
area.
Afternoon: On the designated time, get the Taxi to the aiport to get back to Nepal.
