Now the question is, what do these numbers refer? Well, it's simple. The numbers refer the same number of the notes. For example: If we start our Do Re Mi from note C, then C will be our first note. And if we start Do re Mi from note G, then G will be our first note PART 2: SCALES A scale is any set of musical notes ordered by fundamental frequency or pitch, A scale ordered by increasing pitch is an ascending scale, and a scale ordered by decreasing pitch is a descending scale. There are 12 scales in music. The scales are A, Ad, B, C, C#, D, Di, E, F, F#, G, Gi# Cy dt oof as The symbol Hash (#) represent sharp note. IF you notice carefully youd see, there are no # note for B and E. As you sit at the piano and rest your fingers on the keyboard, move the bench back far enough so your elbows are slightly bent. 2. Sit in the center of the bench, directly in front of the center of the keyboard 3. Sit toward the front edge of the bench with your back straight and your weight forward 4, Rest your feet on the oor 5. Sit comfortably, maintaining good posture 6. Notice their natural curve. as if they were holding a ball. As you sit again. place your fingers on the keyboard, keeping the same natural curve. 8. Position your hands above the keyboard, letting your fingers touch near the center of the large area on the white keys. Hold your palms above the keyboard, but don't rest them on the keys or on the wood below the keys 9. Strike the key with the pad of your finger just below the fingertip. Keep each finger curved, lifting it from the knuckle on the back of your hand. Before start practicing it's good to soak your hands in for a few minutes in warm water, It helps you for better circulation: Bry your hands with a towel and hold your arms out with the hand dangling from the wrist and shake out your hands rapidly for few moments BY scimotors @ YAMAHA PART & : EXERCISE FOR WANDS You need to do some hand exercise on a regular basis before and after you practice piano. 1. Before start practicing it's good to soak your hands in for a few minutes in warm water, It helps you for better circulation. Dry your hands with a towel and hold your arms out with the hand dangling from the wrist and shake out your hands rapidly for few moments, 2. Hold your arms tight. palms downward, clench both hands tightly making two fists. Hold while you count ‘One-Two Snap the fingers quickly outwards, opening both hands. Hold the position with all the fingers extended and count ‘Three-Four’ then close it again. ‘SNAP FINGERS: OPEN 3, DANGLE FROM WRISTS BY scimotors @ YAMAHA 4, Repeat the beginning of the previous exercise with palms upward, Clench both hands making two fists. Hold and count ‘One-Two’ MAKE TIGHT PALMS FISTS uP. Snap the fingers outward (palms up). opening both hand. Holding fingers outward as you count ‘Three-Four’ ‘SNAP FINGERS OPEN PALMS uP 5.
