GRAMMAR

1. Look at the pictures and choose the correct option. What are they doing?
2. Can you remember the present simple tense? Now that you know both the
present simple and present continuous structures, fill in the gaps with the
correct tense form.
3. Make comparisons and oppositions of the animals in the pictures. Then make a
superlative sentence.

FEELING ILL

When you feel ill, like Anne does this morning, you may call or visit a doctor. You may feel pain in a
particular part of your body, like a headache, stomach ache or backache, or you can have other
symptoms like fever, sore throat, etc. Doctors examine you and tell you what to do in order to get
well. They can cure you if you cut yourself or if you have any wound, and sometimes they prescribe
medicines that you can buy at the pharmacy but, first of all, you have to explain to them how you
feel.
