Good Morning, Today my team and I will share information about outer space
and NASA. Pretend that you are all astronauts for a while to make this session
more interesting and informative:) We really look forward to a productive
and fun session
After This Presentation you will have some know

Nasa's Introduction and Brief History

WHAT IS NASA?
The full form of NASA is National Aeronautics and Space
Administration.
The word Aeronautics means the science of building or flying
aircraft.
NASA is a U.S government agency that is responsible for
science and technology related to air and space.
INTRODUCTION
NASA was started on October 1, 1958.
NASA makes satellites and then the satellites help scientists learn more
about Earth.
NASA scientists study things in the solar system and even farther away.
People who do not work at NASA can use NASA’s ideas to make new
inventions. These new inventions can help make life on Earth better.
A new program will send humans to explore the Moon and, one day,
Mars.
HISTORY OF NASA
On July 29, 1958, President Eisenhower signed the National Aeronautics and
Space Act of 1958 establishing the National Aeronautics and Space
Administration (NASA)
NASA was created largely in response to the Soviet launching of Sputnik in
1957.
It was organized around the National Advisory Committee for
Aeronautics (NACA).
NASA’s organization was well under way by the early years of Pres. John F.
Kennedy’s administration when he proposed that the United States put a man
on the Moon by the end of the 1960s.
To that end, the Apollo program was designed, and in 1969 the U.S.
astronaut Neil Armstrong became the first person on the Moon.

Past and Future Projects
Nasa is working on many projects recently and has a lot of plans for the
future. NASA has done much work for the nation till now.
What has NASA done in the past?
NASA's early work on launch vehicles, communication satellites, and weather satellites has
fundamentally changed daily life and created whole new industries. As a catalyst for international
cooperation, NASA has also changed how and why humanity conducts space exploration.

What are the recent projects of NASA?

With the Artemis program, NASA will land the first woman and next man on the MOON by 2024,
using innovative technologies to explore more of the lunar surface than ever before
The biggest discovery of NASA :
NASA’s Chandra x-ray telescope recently found ``ultramassive’’ black holes that are 10
times larger than originally thought and are growing faster than the stars in their respective
galaxies.
What is the goal for Future ?
To support the growth of the Nation’s economy in space and aeronautics, increase
understanding of the universe and our place in it, work with the industry to improve America’s
aerospace technologies, and advance American leadership.
Online Games and Websites By NASA

NASA offers activities on it's websites for kids and adults.

The space agency's website has dozens of tutorials to fascinate any math, science and space
lover.
NASA provides a safe place for children to play as they learn about NASA and it's mission.
For instance, a webiste known as "NASA Kid's Club' offers several games for children which
encourages learning and helps them to gain some knowledg. These games isnspire the future
generation to work hard in order to achieve their dreams and play those games in real life.

Activity Time

The super sound cone activity is a simple instrument that enables us

to hear tiny sounds in our atmosphere which are not audible to us.
As the sound waves are always traveling in the air, the paper
will act as a hindrance and the sound waves will be transmitted
from the air, directly to the cone, and into your ear.
We may not be able to hear these minute sounds in normal
circumstances but this sound cone is totally helpful in these
cases.
So what is the link between these sound cones and NASA?

Do you have any guesses on what these sound cones have in

common with the large sound antennas of NASA?
The sound Like waves in the ocean, there are sound waves in the air. The air jostles
back and forth as the sound energy waves pass.
cone activity
If you put something like paper in the path of the sound wave, it will
How are sound cones and NASA related
to each other? vibrate a lot too. If you give this paper surface the right shape, the sound
wave will be transmitted to a point. So your sonic cone is a sonic funnel!

The same kind of idea powers NASA's giant satellite dishes. These
antennas listen for signals from planetary spacecraft currently exploring
space far from Earth.
Of course, no spacecraft actually communicates by sound. The messages
won't go very far, because sound waves can't travel through the vacuum of
space!
But spaceships emit radio waves, which can travel almost endlessly. Those
satellite dishes don't look much like the sound cone, do they? But the path
of the radio signals as they reach the disk looks like a folded cone.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES BY NASA
In this generation, space is a common and interesting topic that attracts many children towards it.
How about pursuing this profession further in life? Many people are not aware of the job
opportunities that NASA offers to these extraordinary children. Today, I'll talk about the jobs
which you guys can look towards to if you're interested in space
Many people think that NASA is just a group working for astronauts, however, NASA is more than
astronauts. There are scientists, engineers, IT specialists, human resources specialists, accountants,
writers, technicians, and many other kinds of people working together to break barriers to achieve the
seemingly impossible.
PHOTOGRAPHER:
Photographers at NASA take photos at many stages of a
space project to document its progress. This is called
Astrophotography which consists in taking photographs of
celestial bodies, such as stars, planets, comets, star clusters,
and galaxies, or events such as eclipses, and transits, among
others.

Meteorologist:
Meteorologists are atmospheric scientists who prepare
weather forecasts based on observations of the weather
and climate. The technology they use in their forecasts
includes weather balloons, satellites, radar systems and
computer programs that can analyze weather data and
create simulated weather predictions.
Computer Engineer:
Computer engineers design, test and develop the computer
hardware
and other systems NASA uses. This can include the
computer systems NASA uses to observe space, such as measuring
an activity and collecting data, or the hardware researchers,
scientists, and other engineers use.

Logistics Manager:
A logistic manager provides leadership and oversight
for agency-wide logistics material asset management
to meet NASA scientific, aeronautics, and space
exploration mission requirements. Logistics Manager
Department is NASA's “corporate office” that
develops innovative logistics policies, and processes.
