Here are some general guidelines to follow when preparing for a preliminary presentation:
1. Content Preparation:
Clearly explain the problem statement and outline the objectives of your dissertation.
Summarize the research methodology and data collection methods used.
Present key findings, analysis, and interpretations of the data.
Discuss the implications of your findings and their potential contribution to the field of
study.
Adhere to the time limit provided for the presentation and allocate time for questions.
Each student will be provided with 10 minutes to finish their presentation.
Practice your presentation multiple times to become familiar with the content and
timing.
4. Audience Engagement:
Engage your audience by maintaining eye contact and speaking clearly.
Encourage questions and feedback from your audience at the end of the presentation.
5. Professionalism:
Dress appropriately and maintain a professional demeanour during the presentation.
Show enthusiasm and confidence in presenting your work.
8. Etiquette:
Respect the time allocated to other presenters and refrain from interrupting or
dominating the discussion.
