A. Preface
Good evening brother moderator and my brothers at St. Albert Group E Academic
Session. Let me introduce myself. My name is Edward from X-1 class, and it’s a
pleasure for me to perform a promotion performance in this evening. We should be
thankful to God because we can gather in this place to hold this session. In today’s
Academic Session, i want to promote one the music instruments in the world, a grand
piano.
First of all, why did i pick a music instrument for a promotion performance? Why
i’m choosing music as a promotion? Because, musical aspect is a part of human
intellegence. Music could help you to express the emotion from your soul. And there
are many popular composers in the world that uses piano for their song such as Ludwig
van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and else.
Piano has evoluted for so many years and there are so many changes from the body
or the sound itself. Now, i want to promote a grand piano from a music company which
sounds familliar on the music world. I hope that all of you can be interested with the
product that i want to promote, and preparing the money to buy it.

B. Content
Yamaha C3. A glorious looking grand piano from Yamaha Music Company. This
grand piano is the one of the C series grand piano from Yamaha Music Company. For
about a century, C Series Piano has gain popularity from piano players all around the
world as a standard grand piano1. C3 Grand Piano combines the design with the power
of the sound that can expressing the potention from your soul. With a luxurious sound

in an optimal size make C3 Grand Piano popular to be performed on every location
such as music conservatories, performance stages, or even your house. There are many
musicians who uses this grand piano for their performance at stage or on a session at
their houses.
This grand piano has 149 cm long, 101 cm tall, 186 cm wide, and weighted 320
kilograms. The frame on this grand piano could hold a weight until 80 kilograms more
because it was made with a special and strong type of wood. You can even sit on top
this grand piano without worrying the grand piano will be broken. But, i recommended
to not doing it. This piano has 88 keys just like usual piano. But, special thing is the
surface of the key was made by acrylic resin for the white key, and phenolic resin for
the black key.
C3 Series Grand Piano has 3 pedals such as sustain pedal, damper pedal, and lighter
pedal, just like other C Series Piano. Oh yeah, i forgot to tell you about the hammer of
the piano. The hammer of this piano also designed perfectly as comfort piano hammer
so it can increasing the depth of the piano. About the strings, the strings comes from the
Yamaha Company itself and it has been tested & trusted for a long time.
This grand piano is worth 95 Millions Indonesian Rupiah, according to Yamaha
Music Store itself. It is a quite cheap price for a grand piano, because grand pianos
usually worth a hundred millions Indonesian rupiah more. With this price, you also get
free piano chair and the piano’s keys cover.
Now, the last part is the sound from this piano. I will play the C3 Series so all of you
can feel the sound from this piano.

C. Reflection
Sanity is an important point on seminarians life, beside sanctity and science point.
Lucky for us, we’re on a sanity year in our seminary. Sanity is not always about
physique of the body, but there is also about inside the body. What is the “thing” inside
the body? The answer is “the soul”. People express the “sound” of their soul as a gift

 from God. God gave a soul to human kind so they can express their soul for praising
God bigger glory. Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam.
God gave us abilities to express our soul on many ways. There are people who
express their soul with art, sport, etc. Music is a part of an art. Music is one of the way
of human’s soul expressed with harmonies and melodies. With music, we can feel the
beauty of the song that we hear. When we listened to our favorite song, sometimes we
feel happy, free, and joy. That is a freedom inside a music. Music gave us freedom to
our mind and souls. It is similar to God Itself, who gave Israel people a freedom to
enter the promised land which God has given to them.

D. Closing
And that’s all from my performance today. Thank you for watching my
performance this evening. I’m sorry for the grammar, tenses, speaking, and information
