For One post of Assistant Professor in Nuclear Medicine (Medical Physicist and Radio Pharmacist),
essential qualification is MSc (Physics/Chemistry/ Biophysics)/Medical Physics/MSc with
DMRIT/MSc. Nuclear Medicine) with relevant PhD degree.
3) Medical Registration: Candidates must be registered for all their medical qualifications in a State
Medical Register or National Medical Register, except in the case of teachers with non-medical
qualifications. On selection, they shall be required to be registered for all their medical
qualifications with the Uttar Pradesh Medical Council or National Medical Commission.
B) Publications and other Training requirements: As per NMC/erstwhile MCI norms, as amended
from time-to-time and in force as on the last date of submission of application against this
advertisement. [Reference: NMC, Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions
Regulations, 2022]
C) Experience:
1) Broad Specialty*: A total of 14, 10, 06 and 03 years of teaching and/or research experience at a
recognized teaching institution in the concerned subject, after the prescribed MD/MS/DNB/PhD
degree for the posts of Professor, Professor Junior Grade (Additional Professor), Associate
Professor and Assistant Professor, respectively, as on the last date for submission of applications.
Provided further – (i) For the post of Assistant Professor the experience should be as Senior
Resident/Lecturer/Assistant Professor. (ii) Tutor experience shall be counted only for non-medical
candidates after obtaining PhD. (iii) For the post of Associate Professor and Professor, the
experience must include at least 3 years as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor,
respectively.
2) Super Specialty*: 12, 08, 04 and 01 years of teaching and/or research experience in the concerned
subject, after obtaining the 02 years or 05 years integrated degree of DM/MCh/DrNB in concerned
super-specialty for the posts of Professor, Professor Junior Grade (Additional Professor), Associate
Professor and Assistant Professor, respectively; OR 11, 07, 03 and 0 years of teaching and/or
research experience in the concerned subject after obtaining the 03 years or 06 years integrated
degree of DM/MCh/DrNB in the respective specialty Professor, Professor Junior Grade (Additional
Professor), Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, respectively, as on the last date for
submission of applications. Provided further – (i) For the post of Associate Professor and
Professor, the experience must include at least 3 years as Assistant Professor and Associate
Professor, respectively.
*All the above experience should have been completed in the subject of specialty, applied for,
at NMC/erstwhile MCI permitted/approved/recognized medical college/institution.

E) Reservation: Reservation rules will be applicable as per ‘The Public Services (Reservation for
Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes) Act, 1994’ and Government orders
issued from time to time for the domicile of Uttar Pradesh and all other applicable
Laws/Rules/Regulations/Directions issued by the competent authorities.
Certificate issued by competent authority on prescribed format of Government of Uttar Pradesh is
required for the claim of any reservation i.e. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD.
F) Horizontal Reservation (4%) is applied for Persons with Bench Mark Disabilities (PwBD) [Ref: Govt

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The vacancies shown are provisional and subject to variation. The Director reserves the right to
vary the number of vacancies without any prior notice.
2. All the posts shall preferably be filled on Regular Basis. However, candidates will also be
considered for appointment on Deputation Basis if no suitable candidate is available for
regular appointment.
3. Age, experience, and all other eligibility conditions will be counted/determined as on the last
date of submission of application.
4. The Application Form shall be accompanied by all the required documents in support of Age,
Qualifications, Experience, Publications, etc. Applications, deficient in information and
documents are liable to be rejected.

5. The appointee shall be on the whole-time appointment of the Institute and shall not accept any
other assignment, paid or otherwise and shall not engage himself/herself in private practice of
any kind.
6. Exceptionally qualified candidates having meritorious records and/or specialized experience in
relevant field/thrust area or higher qualifications shall be preferred.
7. Candidates not registered with the NMC/erstwhile MCI or Medical Council Uttar Pradesh, if
selected, need to get registered (both UG and PG degrees) with either of the above bodies before
joining. Proof of such application shall have to be submitted at the time of joining along with
other state registration.
8. All candidates are permitted to apply against posts earmarked for EWS subject to the following
conditions only:
a. That their candidature will be considered only if EWS applicants are not available.
b. That their candidature will be as UR candidates only, which means, there shall be no
relaxations which are otherwise permitted under their specific categories.
c. Application fee shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
9. The period of experience wherever prescribed shall be counted after obtaining the prescribed
qualification (MD/MS/DNB/PhD/DM/MCh/DrNB)
10. Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not entitle the candidate to call for interview/offered
appointment.
11.Reservation Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD) where applicable should be issued
by the by the competent authority under Govt of UP.
TERMS & CONDITIONS – REGULAR APPOINTMENT
12. The appointee shall be on probation for 1 year, extendable in case of unsatisfactory service by
the competent Authority.
13. During probation he/she cannot apply elsewhere outside DrRMLIMS.
14. Incumbent may leave service by giving resignation notice of 1 month during probation period
and 3 months thereafter or salary in lieu of the notice period duration, the resignation notice
period falls short of above stipulated duration. The institute reserves the right to relieve the
incumbent from service before the expiry of the notice period without any financial right in favor
of the resigning faculty for the un-served notice period.
15. The Institute can also terminate the service of any faculty member by giving written notice as
above (1 month during probation, 3 months after completion of probation) or salary in lieu
thereof.
TERMS & CONDITIONS – DEPUTATION
16. All posts are proposed to be filled preferably on Regular basis. However, in case, suitable
candidates are not found, then the candidates will be considered for appointment on Deputation
Basis.
17. In-service candidates, fulfilling eligibility criteria in all respects and working in eligible Govt
Medical Teaching Institutions that are recognized by the NMC/erstwhile MCI, can apply through
proper channel along with attested copies of ACRs/APARs for last five years and Vigilance
Clearance Certificate. If candidates expect any delay in obtaining NOC, they must submit online
application by the last date with acknowledged copy of application for NOC to the current
employer. The must bring the NOC with signed application at the time of interview.
18. The period of deputation and extensions shall be as per Institute/Govt rules. The total/maximum
duration shall be till age of superannuation or appointment/joining by regular candidate,
whichever is earlier.
HOW TO APPLY
Important:
1. The detailed advertisement, link for submission of online application form and subsequent
communication/updates related to this advertisement shall be available on the Institute’s
website www.drrrmlims.ac.in. Hence, the candidates are advised to keep checking the website
for any announcements/updates.
2. Candidates will have to produce signed hard copy of their online application, original copies of
all certificates in support of all the claims made regarding their candidature in the application
for verification, as per the instructions of the institute at the time of interview. They will be
required to submit self-attested copies of the uploaded documents at the time of interview.
3. If, at any stage, it is found that any desired/necessary information is suppressed or
misrepresented by the candidate, his/her candidature can be cancelled and other appropriate
action can be initiated against him/her.
4. Candidates are directed to preserve the information (in the form of soft and hard copy for future
reference) rendered at each step of registration/application (eg- registration, fee payment,
final submission etc.) while applying online.
5. Application Fee: Non-Refundable application fee shall be payable as follows:
a. ₹.6000.00 (Rupees Six Thousand only) + 18% GST (UR and OBC candidates applying
against respective category posts).
b. ₹.3500/- + 18% GST (SC/ST/PwBD/EWS candidates applying against respective category
posts).
c. US$ 100.00 (US Dollar One Hundred Only) or equivalent in Indian Rupees for overseas
candidates for all categories.
It is also informed that any amount deposited as application fee will not be refunded under any
circumstances.
6. On-line Application: For online application, candidates will have to provide their mobile
number and valid and functional e-mail ID in the prescribed columns, without which their basic
registration will not be completed. All the information/instructions will be sent on this mobile
number/e-mail id in future. Complete application form should be submitted online by 11:59
PM IST on the last date of application that is 01.01.2024.
7. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should register separately with
separate mobile number and e-mail address, for each post and pay the application fee for
each post separately and submit online application separately for each post.
SHORTLISTING & SELECTION PROCESS
1. Short Listing for Assistant Professors: A written test will be conducted for the posts of
Assistant Professor for screening purpose only where number of applicants is more than 10
times for the first post and more than 5 times for subsequent posts. Where applicable,

candidates will be informed about date of written test via e-mail. Final short listing will be
based on Basic Academic Score (BAS), Academic Performance Indicators (API) and written
test score. Short listed candidates will be informed via email for the Teaching Skills
Assessment and Interview date. No TA/DA will be payable for appearing in the in the written
screening test and/or Interview.
2. Selection Process: For Assistant Professors, selection shall be based on assessment of short-
listed candidates by a duly constituted Selection Committee as provided for, in the Dr
RMLIMS, Lucknow Act 2015 and will be based on Assessment of Teaching Skills (2/3 rd
weightage) and Interview (1/3rd weightage). Details shall be shared with candidates with call
for interviews or announced on the website.
3. Short Listing for Associate Professor and Professor: Candidates may be short listed for
Teaching Skills Assessment and Interview by the Institute subject to number of applications
against advertised posts where number of applicants is more than 10 times for the first post and
more than 5 times for subsequent posts. Short listing will be based on BAS and API score; no
written test will be conducted for these posts. Short listed candidates will be informed via email
for the interview. No TA/DA will be payable for appearing in the Interview.
4. Selection Process: For Associate Professor and Professor, selection shall be based on
assessment of short-listed candidates by a duly constituted Selection Committee as provided
for, in the Dr RMLIMS, Lucknow Act 2015 and will be based on Interview. Details shall be
shared with candidates with call for interviews or announced on the website.

Filling the online application form
Online link for filling up the online application form will be displayed/activated on the Institute
website www.drrmlims.ac.in, two (2) days after the advertisement is published in the newspapers.
The last date of filling up online application form will be one month from the date of activation of
the online link.

b. On the Home page, click on the link that announces the advertisement for recruitment.
c. Click tab on the “Online form submission” and for Registration of filling the form.

D. At the time of screening of applications or during interview or after joining the Institute, if the
Institute comes to know about any wrong/falsified information, the candidature/appointment can
be immediately cancelled by the Institute.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Online application forms can be filled on the website of this Institute -
https://www.drrmlims.ac.in. The last date for online fee submission is 01.01.2024.
2. Candidates must fill in the application form as per the procedure given in the advertisement and
online application portal. At the time of interview, the candidate MUST bring duly signed
downloaded application form along with, proof of application fee, original documents of age,
educational qualification, medical registrations, experience, publications, category, other
academic and research activities, awards, orations, etc. Most important: NOC from the current
employer.
3. Incomplete applications will not be considered and will be rejected summarily. The Institute
shall not be responsible if application of any candidate is rejected based on incomplete or faulty
information furnished in the application form.
4. The candidature would be cancelled if found to be involved in acts of misconduct, suppression of
any important information, pending prosecution/criminal suit, conviction, having more than one
living wife/wife of a person with more than one living wife, misrepresenting facts and making
recommendations regarding the selection of candidates. The Institute will have the right to debar
the candidate from this recruitment and all further recruitment and selections of the Institute.
5. The candidate is required to possess the advertised essential qualifications, experience by the last
date of online application.
6. Candidates should go through the detailed advertisement carefully and apply for any post only if
they are eligible for the post as per the conditions of the advertisement. They should satisfy
themselves regarding their eligibility for the post applied and must fulfil all the eligibility criteria
as on the last date of submission of application, failing which their application will be rejected
and application fee shall not be refunded.
7. Applications will not be accepted in any case after the last due date and time. However,
candidates rejected by the 'screening committee for eligibility' would be given an opportunity to
represent through email or in-person and represent the issue of rejection at the institute within 48
hours of being intimated by email; the decision of the competent authority at the institute shall be
final and binding in all such cases.
8. Other Conditions:
(a) Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification. The prescribed qualification is
minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle any candidate for
interview/selection.
(b) The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
(c) The selected candidate is expected to conform to the rules of conduct and discipline as
applicable to the Institute employees.
(d) In case, any information or declaration given by the candidate is found to be false or if the
candidate has willfully suppressed any material information relevant to this appointment,

he/she will be liable to be removed from the service and/or any action taken as deemed fit by
the appointing authority.
(e) The decision of the competent authority regarding the selection of candidates will be
final and no representation will be entertained in this regard.
(f) Incomplete applications in any aspect will be summarily rejected.
(g) The Director, DrRMLIMS reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation, and changes
to this advertisement or subsequent appointment letter in whole or in part without assigning
any reason or giving notice.
(h) Joining of selected candidates is subject to his/her being declared medically fit by the
competent Medical Board constituted by the Institute.
(i) In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any
stage even after the issue of the appointment letter/joining by the candidate, the Institute
reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication/offer made to the
candidate.
(j) The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of all the information and documents
submitted by him/her along with the application form. Submission of any false and/or
suppression/concealment of facts shall lead to rejection/cancellation of selection/recruitment
of the applicant.
(k) No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
(l) No correspondence/queries will be entertained from candidates regarding the conduct and
result of the interview and reasons for not being called for an interview.
9. Jurisdiction for any dispute will be subject to competent Courts at Lucknow only.
