1) Corporate Strategy describes a company’s overall direction in terms of its general attitude toward growth and
the management of its various business and product lines. The corporate strategy typically fits within the three
main categories: Stability Strategy, Growth Strategy, and Retrenchment Strategy. Business Strategy It usually
occurs at the strategic business unit level or product level. It emphasizes the improvement of the competitive
position of a firm’s products or services in a specific industry or market segment served by that business unit.
There can be two types of business strategy- Competitive and Cooperative strategy unit or firm may try to co-
operate with another firm in the production and marketing of goods or services by forming alliances like Joint
ventures.
2) The strategy provides various benefits to its users:
