This List Is Up To Date With Reap With You Sow Going Live!! :)
Easy Navigation:
Hit Control+F if you're on PC to look for the crop you’d like to grow. If you’re on mobile,
there should be an option that’s similar to Control+F in your option settings.
The pairings are sorted both in alphabetical order and via ratios for the auto-nutrient
variants. Fertilizer combos only have ratios.
Crops need to have certain nutrients in order to grow. It also just so happens that some
crop combinations will provide the right amount of nutrients to each other when paired
together so you yourself don't have to provide the nutrients via fertilizers! (You will have
to water and tend to these crops though. The Lord Fruitfly will drop an auto-tending
mob, but the auto-watering system outside of Spring rain is something we don’t have at
the moment.)
Not only that, if you have four of the same crops in a tile range, you'll get a giant version
of that crop, which will provide you the most yield. It looks like this (thanks to Mr. Tarunio
for providing these images):
This first picture is not not close enough, but the second one is:
Keep in mind that some crops only grow in certain seasons and trying to make a list of
all the possible combinations can be a headache.
So instead, I made a program that compiled all 2-crop, 3-crop, 4-crop, AND 5 crop
pairings that automatically provided all the needed nutrients to each other in their
respective seasons.
Note: For 5 crop pairings where the ratio is 1:1:1:1:1 the 5th crop in the pairing won’t be
giant but will still be auto-nutrient.
How’d I make all these combinations?
I wrote a program to brute force and output all 2-crop and 3-crop pairings where the
nutrient levels of said pairings would be greater than or equal to zero (ie. they would
provide all the needed nutrients to each other) .
In the event a crop value changes or a new crop is added to the game (if that ever
happens), this guide will be updated pretty easily to match the new situation (it may be a
bit delayed though depending on my availability :) ).

● Thanks to Quartz Beam on the Klei Forums for the slight code adjustment that
removed all the duplicate combinations.
● Thanks to Rob Kozoki for making me realize that crops with the same values can
substitute for each other during certain seasons, making this list much
shorter/easier to read.
● Pedro for fixing the table of contents so that it’s much easier to navigate.
4. List what crop grows in what season for each season section,
followed by crop equivalencies for each season.
5. Fix table of contents to be less messy (I didn’t realize this via the
editor view)
Crop Pairings In Alphabetical Order
Autumn
Summer
2x2 tile
1:1:1:1 8x Carrot/Pumpkin + 8x Corn + 8x Pepper + 8x Toma Root
2x2 tile
1:1:1:1:1 8x Eggplant/Potato + 8x Garlic + 8x Onion + 8x Pepper + 8x Toma Root
Spring
2x2 tile:
1:1:1:1 8x Asparagus/Corn + 8x Carrot + 8x Dragon Fruit + 8x Toma Root
2x2 tile:
1:1:1:1:1 8x Asparagus/Corn + 8x Dragon Fruit + 8x Onion/Pomegranate + 8x
Toma Root + 8x Watermelon
The crop combo sections is divided based on the crop ratios/the minimum tile size
needed for all crops to be giant (this was done because some ratios in the same # crop
combinations required more tiles for all crops to be giant, thus meaning it needed more
fertilizer for all of them to be giant).
How much fertilizer you need has been computed for you on a tile size basis. (That
means any crop combo will have a minimum of 4 crops to it.)
DISCLAIMER: You should compare whatever fertilizer lacking combo you find here to
an auto-nutrient combo. You may find that a combo that uses minimal fertilizer may
actually be better when scaled via the auto-nutrient combo or even vice-versa. That’s
the best advice I can give, since these fertilizers are only gonna be used for making
giant crops.
The -2 arrows worth of nutrients translates into the following for each fertilizer.
● Each crop pairing lacks 10% of super growth fertilizer’s worth of nutrients
The super growth fertilizer section is based on every 10% use per pairing, even though
SGF has five uses with each use being 20% each. The reason I did this is because
when you scale the crop pairings in multiples of 2, it ends up being in multiples of 20%
instead of 10%.
I also added logic to sort the combinations by ratios, since some ratios fit require
different sized layouts in order for everything to be giant.
For example, a 5-crop combo with a 3:2 ratio will fit in a 1x1 tile and make everything
giant, but a 5-crop combo with a 1:1:1:1:1 ratio would require a 2x2 tile, thus consuming
more fertilizer overall.
Navigation/Comparison Instructions:
This section is somewhat difficult to navigate/compare b/c of with how much information
there is.
That’s why Control + F is your friend. Look up what crop you want to grow and compare
between the different crop combos to see what’s best for you :)
total fertilizer usage = Fertilizer used per pairing * how many times pairing repeats itself
to become giant
5 CROP COMBO
3:2 needs a 1x1 tile, pairing is repeated 2x for all giant, which means 2x the fertilizer
2:2:1 needs a 2x1 tile, pairing is repeated 4x for all giant, which means 4x the fertilizer
2:1:1:1 needs a 2x1 tile, pairing is repeated 4x for all giant, which means 4x the fertilizer
3:1:1 needs a 2x1 tile, pairing is repeated 4x for all giant, which means 4x the fertilizer
1:1:1:1:1 needs a 2x2 tile, pairing is repeated 8x for all giant, which means 8x the
fertilizer
4 CROP COMBO
2:1:1 needs a 2x1 tile, pairing is repeated 4x for all giant, which means 4x the fertilizer
1:1:1:1 needs a 2x2 tile, pairing is repeated 8x for all giant, which means 8x the fertilizer
^this can actually be done in a 2x1, but its annoying to do, so leave it
3 CROP COMBO (these have room to squeeze extra combos for more
fertilizer, it’s been adjusted for)
1:1:1 needs a 2x1 tile, pairing is repeated 4x for all giant, which means 4x the fertilizer
2:1 needs a 2x1 tile, pairing is repeated 4x for all giant, which means 4x the fertilizer
2 CROP COMBO
1:1 needs a 1x1 tile, pairing is repeated 4x for all giant, 4x the fertilizer
Autumn Unbalanced Manure
6x Watermelon + 4x Onion/Pomegranate
2x1 Tiles (80% Growth Fertilizer Total, 40% Each Tile)
12x Carrot + 4x Dragon Fruit + 4x Durian/Garlic
