This reading is dedicated to my four beautiful

children Derrick, Derrica, God, and Melanin Grace.
Unsure of where to start to stress how much life you
all give me. Many overlook that I speak from a place
of experience when sharing my perspective. The
world, it's occupants, and adversity has taken more
shots at me then I can count. Yet I pick up the pieces
of me that can be salvaged, place them back as best I
can, and do my part to better humanity. You not only
take a backseat many times so I can tend to the
children of the word, but you make happy with the
pieces that are leftover day in and day out when I
return. For that I am forever grateful and assure you,
the only thing in life that will get more time than you
all will be my necessity for oxygen.

More times than not we don't appreciate what we

have until it is no longer at our disposal. I don't
want to wait 365 pages to thank those who have
played an intricate part in this work and who I am
today. Thank you Ma and Dad for the connect on
the DNA and confidence. There is no one else in
life I'd rather be than me. Much appreciation to my
three brothers Eric, Trent, and Arlyn for always

five years now, after walking
away from corporate America.
I've seen this game from street
level, employee, and
independent. This is a plight
we're all dealing with.
The mishandling of our funds
and non investment in self.
We're generating too much
revenue to only have debt,
materials, and thousand dollar
savings. Niche funding and self
investment is a now, not a
must!?

Try fasting from television,

internet, and social media.
Do some excessive reading,
spend too much time with your
children, and partake in some
organic past times.

Economic slavery is alive and

thriving, simply because we've
been programmed to believe we
can not make it without a higher
power dictating our efficiency
and worth. I know, because I
was once there.

I remind you it is our birthright

to be just that, royalty!
Yet we must accept it mentally
and exercise it physically, in the
present, and through our
articulation. Let's level up, build
each other up, and embrace our
true right to be royalty. It starts
with your mentality. Unlearn and
relearn, you're purposeful,
much needed, and more
important than the world gives
you credit for.

deserve to be pedestaled,
honored, and held extremely
high. We all owe our existence

all? Have you read or learned
anything today? Have you
maximized your potential?

leading causes for our passed
on tradition of dependency.
Somewhere we were convinced
that the only way up was

stranger and dollar Monday
through Friday, then you for
sure can break that sleep for
your babies on these weekends.

I wish you nothing but wealth,

so you can see how unimportant
it is in the grand scheme of
things. We wake up with a how
can this work around my
schedule mentality, it wouldn't
hurt to pedestal our children the
same way. How can my entire
life work around building,
praising, and appeasing them
like we do these strangers.

Initiating physical altercation to

worsen the argument just for a
good make up is not love.
These tactics are extremely
stressful and toxic. Things may
very well go left one day.

I've met women who thought a

good fist fight meant the love
was real and even more who
instruct their partner to leave,
only to block the door when
they actually try to.
Recognizing issues in life is a
part of the process,
continuously subjecting yourself
to it is a whole different level of
self inflicted stress

Trial and error is the greatest

teacher if you ask me. All the
wasted money, Mother's of my
children, illegal drugs, violence,
good, bad, shootings, having it,
being broke, depressed,
an economic slave placed me
here in this very spot. Embrace
your high and lows, they only
remain lows when you don't use
your experience to rise.

Worrying about your problems

will not solve them. Assess the
damage, create a plan of action,
and use the adversity as fuel.
This place will consume and
swallow you, if you allow it.

I was once too fake rich, to

realize how poor I really was.
I found myself spending 1k a
month on foreign navigation and
was still lost out here.

Our regurgitated complaints

won't move anything, as history
has shown us. Invest your time,
energy, and resources,
into solutions.

The only thing that should get

more time than our children
is oxygen.

If you give the same out of time

to your children that you spend
daily appeasing and pleasing
adults, they just might listen,
emulate, and confide in you.
Invest your time in the people
who are going to make sure you

When you're trying to do what

most couldn't do, then most will
not understand. Accept it and
press forward, everybody is not

and processing is a part of life.

People, places, and things are

sometimes nothing more than
seasons. They're flawed
unfortunately and may let us
down. You must remove your
sole interest, trust,
and happiness from things of
the world. Otherwise you will
spend your life on a emotional
roller coaster. There is
absolutely nothing wrong with
loving you to death and fueling
up off the lack of love you get
from the world and those in it.

Regurgitating our plight is

counterproductive. Can we think
of one time that we conquered
adversity by constantly talking
about how challenging it is or
pointing fingers?

You must first detach from

things of the world to outgrow it.
Simple things like opinions,
television, acceptance,
and living within the confines of
others rules. I assure you,
this will deliver you the
"Life Is Good" smile.

Far too many of us are terrified

of allowing what we truly yearn
for in, because of the past
guards created from bad
relationships. Take it from the
guy with 4 children and 3
mothers, one of them having
conceived before and after
another. My trust issues have
not only forced me to settle for
bad, but keep running back
because it presented a false
sense of security due to this
thing called history and comfort.

Be conscious of those who state

they'll give you their last,
but are hesitant to give you
back what they owe you.
Something doesn't add up.

When you realize that there are

countless layers to this thing
called life, you will break down,
assess, and react so much
smoother and collected to the
adversity and fog.

week, and excessive women
was power! At 27 making sure
my children are never employed
by the same folks who
oppressed my older relatives is
the move. Intangibles over
everything.

We speed, have unprotected

sex, and gamble like no
tomorrow but are shook of the
voices in your head. Fear is an
illusion, danger is real.

Get a job, work, date, vacation

twice a year, marry one day,
make babies, follow tradition,
drive within your lane, eat your
veggies, find a favorite
television channel, adopt a pet,
pay your home owner fees,
and invest into 401k...

never substitute for the time
wasted dealing with multiple
men, because you have been
hurt before. Do not allow this
ugly world to harden you or blur
your vision. Time is our most
valuable resource, power up
your existence. You will warrant
what you deserve.

Biggest question I get from

parents regarding homeschool,
what about their social skills
and development? What about
their nourishment and
independence? Which is more
vital, plant life or social life?

The proceeds will soon fade but

the impact will live forever
through audio, literature,

Intellectual property is far
greater than anything else I've
thumbed through in life.

for just what they are, a source
of information and training.
Learn the ropes, hide the
income, and invest in yourself.

complaining and start
solutioning. Everything else is

Refrain from debating, belittling,

or attempting to prove anything.
Simply provide your perspective
from your assessment and
experience. Be conscious of
people who hold you up
constantly talking about
problems, but are nowhere to be
found when it's time to move
forward.

winter, tissue for the bathroom,

stage. Warrant someone that
will not only wish, but assist in
your betterment whether you all
are together or not.

should be priority at all times,

during the week and some don't!
Well guess what, it's the
weekend. Take advantage of
the time to get to know yours
better, teach them something,
show them something new
they've never seen, make some
memories. You can't continue to
allow everyone else to consume
their time, then wonder why you
aren't their biggest influencer.

and goals your absolute all,
have become mentally,
physically exhausted and the

I haven't made Plan B's for

almost 5 years now and I would
change absolutely nothing.
If I want it, it's mine. Create a
plan of action, work,
and patiently wait on the rest of
the world to realize it.
You can do the same, once
you're mentally prepared.

Due to tradition, security,

and mental conditioning many of
us are just hollow and confined
vessels. There are no do overs
or replays, I suggest you do this
your way. What's the worst that
could happen?

Craftmanship should trump the

payout any day! Start focusing
on the accuracy and execution
of what it is you bring to the
world, not solely compensation.
Be aware when you're as good
as you believe your money
should be, the praise and dollar
will find you. Focus on being the
best, the universe will handle

Instant gratification has us more

focused on pay, than potential.
I too have been there. Lock in
on your work ethic, execution,
and completion. The money will
find you. Following your
discovery of it, you will also
note the impact and accuracy of
what you do will outlive the
dollar any day.

blood, sweat, and tears in 1995
and you stroll along in 2017
believing I'm going to one day
make you a partner or equal?
There's a fine line between
opportunity and controlled
success! Whether you work,
hustle, an entrepreneur, etc
self investment is a must.
Nobody is going to look after
you, like you will.

One common thing almost all my

past volatile interactions had in
common, was their quickness to
act like a victim. Unless you
properly narrow down your
trigger list, people will get under
your skin daily. Here's mine!
My children, I could care less
about money or anything else.
Develop a list, think before you
speak, and understand he who
has the power to alter your
energy might CONTROL you.
Take that back.

Refrain from making permanent

decisions, based of temporary
situations. Being irrational,
living within your emotions,
and being moved often is a sure
shot to bad decision making.
Remain a thinker at all times and
understand every action does
not warrant a reaction.
9 times out of 10 people do not
physically want the reaction
they may be verbally asking for.

Do not let the lovers of the old

and stagnant you convince you
otherwise. We live in a world
where you will be isolated,
ridiculed, and left behind for
trying to encourage your
partner, friend, or associate to
be the best them! Stand firm
and continue rising, you're a

generational wealth,
group economics,
and knowledge of self.
Your next birthday is not

love of security be the reason

their Grandparents did.
There's no evolution in that.
Times, technology, and our

making can be very dangerous
for your happiness, piece of

confined to the same because
we make ourselves accessible
to the same!

write down your plans to change

encourage you, build with you,
talk to your subconscious and
conscious, hold down the fort,
load your gun, provide healing,
exhibit Queen or King behavior
for your children, retwist your
locs, and cook a little something

Instant gratification has been

the cause for much of our love
for the "Right Now". Whether it
be dreams, love, goals,
patience, food we eat etc...
We have a "If not by tomorrow,
I don't want it" mentality.
When it doesn't turn over
instantly, we draw back out
interest and walk away
prematurely.
I'm trying to make my
Grandkids proud.

Skittles, sleeping with countless
women, living for TV shows,
trading time for money,
shooting someone in front of
Derrica, waiting in line for the
latest Lebrons, downing triple
stacks like cookies...
World change was the last thing
on my mind! At 27 allow me to
be the reminder, your road
traveled doesn't dictate
your destination.

Debating is counterproductive!
Proving why they're foolish for
their beliefs or paths helps to
only stroke your ego.
Build on the similarities.

Belittling you for not knowing

what I do or walking my
identical path is not progressive
or enlightenment. There's a fine
line between building and
throwing bricks. Be mindful of
the excessive resistance we
provide others because they
don't think as we do.
The divided has to stop fighting
the divided.

Some Kings will encourage you

to get the job, while some will
take the time to assist you in
creating a job. Some will want
nothing more than instant
gratification when being intimate
and others will use it as a tool
for healing. Some will rather
flood you with gifts, while
another will gift you with an
investment to your dreams.
Moral of the story is, life is all
about perspective. Just be sure
yours is evolving! If you don't
warrant more for yourself,
they won't either.

I fight during the day in hopes

of changing and rewriting an
entire generation, then I come
home and fight with my kids too.
If we don't get it right, we must
still train our seeds to make
sure the trees still blossom
as planned.

the dismantle of a system,
but physically build it for the
sake of comfort and security.
It's a conflict of interest.

Being an advisory is cool,

but I like the tour guide
approach better. I keep them
extremely close regardless of
what the terms are. Regardless
of the check or job at hand,
no man shall ever dictate
whether our children are
allowed in the building.

find a hobby! You just might
stumble across your purpose.

More times than not we settle

for the sake of security,
comfort, and being forced to be
receptive to NEW places and
people! Assess your situation,
you may very well be the
reason why you haven't
progressed in categories such
as relationships, goals,
or what you attract.
Everything you're looking for is
already within you.

It is unfair to allow mediocrity

until they're 15, then give them
the “Get Serious” speech in high
school. You tell them to become
a Man or Woman in 3 years,
then wonder why you've lost
them along the way.
Their girlfriend, homies,
and strangers raised them the
15 years prior. Build with your
children now.

I came to admitting months ago

that humans don't appreciate
you most until you're
unreachable. Cool...
My seeds will watch my trees
blossom then continue to plant
around them. I believe in
intangibles over everything!
Energy never ever ever dies.

when they said we could be and
do what we want with OUR lives.
Hard to still believe in your 30's

Be mindful of the experience,

credentials, and background of
those who make it their
business to down You! Don't be
so quick to fire back with hate
or defense. Somewhere in their
journey they may have been
captured by the Times and felt
the need to conform and live by
them. The shallow want
materials and the conscious
want internal and external
positive change supposedly,
more times than not these
people have neither. So they
find themselves shunning any
and everything they can.
Remain the light you are and
rising, it's lonely at the top.
The top being happiness.

Far too many of us living for the

cosign of books, strangers, and
folks who won't share a plot
with us when we get buried.
S/o to everyone who never let
that head strong kid inside them
be murdered by tradition,
acceptance, and somebody
else's idea of what life is.

There are countless siblings in

identical cities with animosity
because they feel like Daddy
chose or loved his other family
more. Even more with a brother
down the street that they don't
know or care to. Don't hesitate
to spread yourself thin to keep
the family thick.

Book #1 and #2 had one slogan

in common, that Adversity
Builds Character! Being broke,
in corporate America, a terrible
drug dealer, flipping Pokemon
cards, to being an entrepreneur,
selling Apps on Google Play,
and negotiating booking fee's
because I was too broke to
afford a manager only made me
more intellectually dangerous.
Go through it and grow through
it. Your trials will only make you
a more wiser and fit leader for
those coming behind you.
Trust me and the process!

We yearn for the updated car,

updated Jordan's, and updated
hair... but become complacent
with the same old kids unless
the school board says it's time
for growth! Their limits are
based up to you as their parent
and leader.

and countless other things,
I wouldn't be talking to you now.
Everything I'm not, made me

actually enjoy it. Monitor your
radars family, keep still and
don't be emotional about life's
nonsense. It's going to happen.
I've been broke, shot at,
shot back, heart broken,
alone, used, and left out and

ideology of a 2.0 student
knowing more than a 4.0
student. Grades don't serve
much purpose on the concrete.
I barely made it out, but I
possess many characteristics
that school can not teach.
Heart, resilience, and self will.
Many of my peers were
smarter, more financially strong,
and connected. Yet my
intangible inner workings are
second to none. Reformat your
flaws and give more focus to
your strengths. You're great for
your own unique reasons!

everything. You're in sole
