The supervisory process, methods, and tools
involved the oversight and management of
employees, tasks, and projects. It includes a
range of activities such as setting goals,
monitoring progress, providing feedback, and
making necessary adjustments to ensure that
objectives are met.

1. PLANNING
The first step in the supervisory process is to plan what
needs to be accomplished. This includes setting goals

2. ORGANIZING
Once goals and objectives have been established, the next
step is to organize resources and assign tasks to employees.
This includes delegating responsibilities, establishing
workflows, and ensuring that employees have the necessary
tools and resources to complete their work.
3. DIRECTING
The directing phase involves overseeing employees and tasks
to ensure that they are being completed effectively and
efficiently. This includes providing guidance and support to
employees, monitoring progress, and providing feedback on
performance.
4. CONTROLLING
In the controlling phase, the supervisor monitors progress
and makes necessary adjustments to ensure that objectives
are met. This includes identifying problems and issues that
may arise, taking corrective action, and making changes to
the plan as needed.
5. EVALUATING
The final step in the supervisory process involves evaluating
performance and outcomes to determine whether
objectives were met. This includes analyzing performance
data, providing feedback to employees, and identifying
opportunities for improvement.

job performance.

These tools help to manage tasks and projects by
tracking progress, identifying risks and issues, and
ensuring that deadlines are met.
6. COMMUNICATION TOOLS
These tools help to facilitate communication
between supervisors and employees, such as email,
messaging apps, and video conferencing.
