What is the figurative meaning of the poem?

The poem means that the person brings him light or we can call it happiness that’s
why he calls her that she is his sun. It also means that when the other person is not
around, he begins to fall.

What figure of speech is used in the poem? Consonance

What is the figurative meaning of the poem?

For me the poem means that when he is alone, he thinks about his dreams that no
one ever dared to dream before.

1. Watching the waves crash onto the lazy stretch of sand below.
Figure of speech: Personification
Figurative meaning: It describes how the waves are flowing on the shore.

2. The daylight sunk into starlight like a slow transition, as we lost track of time
together.
Figure of speech: Simile
Figurative meaning: They didn’t notice that it was already nighttime when they
are together.

3. The half-moon yawned when we waved goodbye to another moment, lost to


our memory.

Figurative meaning: It was already their time to say goodbye.
4. Frogs hopped in our path and out of sight again, the sound of their croaking
ever present.
Figure of speech: Onomatopoeia
Figurative meaning: They hear the croaks of the frogs when they were talking.

5. The walls learned our secrets like how you like your coffee black and I like
mine with cream and sugar.

Figurative meaning: They are sharing their secrets to each other everytime
they talk.
