AST SpaceMobile and our global partners are building the first and only space-based cellular broadband
network to be accessible by standard smartphones. Called SpaceMobile, this ultra-powerful network is
being designed to provide connectivity at 4G/5G speeds everywhere on the planet – on land, at sea and
in flight.

Summary

AST SpaceMobile is looking to hire an Integration and Automation Engineer to design, develop and
maintain systems for version control, continuous integration, continuous deployment and other
automated software tasks. For this position we are willing to consider candidates of varied experience
levels, from recent graduates to senior engineers, and will compensate accordingly. The candidate will
be an integral member of the Software Testing Division, which is responsible creating and executing
tests through our software simulator, HIL and even the satellite.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Design, implement, and maintain an infrastructure to support automatic versioning, testing, and
deployment of application and embedded software
 Implement version control strategies across all software development groups
 Collaborate with other sub-system engineers to define and advance software integration and
automation practices
 Troubleshoot automation practices including supporting infrastructure

Technical Requirements:

 At least 4-6 years of professional experience working in software dev-ops

 Experience with setting up and maintaining version control systems containing multiple
repositories that are used by different teams
 Proficiency with implementing DevOps in complex environments
o Continuous integration
o Continuous testing
o Continuous deployment
o Continuous monitoring
 Experience with programming languages like C, C++, Python, or other scripting languages
 Familiar with concurrent (multithreaded) programming practices and libraries
  Experience with containerization such as Docker
 Proficiency with version control systems

Desired Qualifications:

 Proficiency with Networking concepts and Fundamentals

 Proficiency in Full Stack development
 Familiar with web development languages and frameworks such as:
o NodeJS
o Angular, Vue, React
