Filters and valves A When working on the pipework, all inlet feeds must be closed off. + Check that non-return valves and manual closure valves are working properly. + Check filtors and flow-limiters in inlet feeds (sce section Cleaning filters). Clean if nocessary. + Check all pipe joints. Tighten if necessary. Press [i] to start rim flushing (with door closed). Temperature check + Check the temperature during the disinfection phasc and also the duration of the phase when disinfection temperature has been reached against the lmperature cu ve supplied. + The measuring equipment used should be able to provide continuous registration of the temperature and the period. Note that the relatively fast changes in temperature place heavy de- mands on the equipment to achieve reliahle results + Fora function check, a ineasuring point is recommended, sited on the surface of the goods, e.g. the bottom of a bedpan (inside) Edition 000301 B Service Manual Cleaning inlet pipe filter The filter and flow-limiter in the inlet pipes (hot water, cold water and steam) should be regularly checked and cleaned if necessary. Filter Flow-limiter Cleaning the rotating jet (jet nozzle) ‘The jet must be removed for cleaning. Use a sct spanner (10 mm) to lock the nut between the jet and the rotating jet. Then unscrew the jet by hand. Manual Machine-independent variables, line numbers 00 - 09 Authorisation code Line number 0 ‘The machine has four levels of authorisation: + Level A for users. display only (code 0000) + Level B for users, changes (code 2000) + Level C for servicing statf, changes + Level D for servicing staff, critical settings Note that it is always possible to view all lines of the program at Level A, even without on authorisation code for other levels. The code only pro- tects against changes to the programming. Checking and fetching settings Line numer 1 Authorisation level: CD ‘This is used to fetch complete arrays of settings (the totality of line numbers) and tu check what setting is being used. The following arrays are found: 1= Fetch basic settings 2.2. Fetch factory settings (those programmed on delivery) 3— Work settings are being used If any variable is changed after the machine has been delivered, the value ‘will automatically be changed from 02 to 03. Machine type Line number 2 This shows the type of machine to which the program applies. 1000 = Low spec (SP1000) 2000 = High spec (Tornado) The value cannot be changed. Program version Line number 3, Subline numbers 01-04 ‘These show what program version the program chips on the data card contain. The two subline numbers show the following: 01 = 00: no communication with other machines 01: interface RS-232 02: interface RS-485 (option) 02= network address (0 - 9999) Configuration, line numbers 10 - 29 Start-up code Line number 10 Authorisation levels CD ‘When this function is enabled, a special start-up code is xeyuited when the machine is started for the first time. The function is used if'certainty is required that the machine has been attended by a service technician before use. 00= Non-active 01 = Active Child safety Line number U1 Authorisation level: BCD When this function is enabled, the following is required to open the door: Keep buttons Fj and Bi] depressed simultaneously for at least 5 seconds. ‘The door lock will then stay open for 20 seconds.
