NOTE Sub DHTE - Estt. - Workload assessment of teaching faculties as per UGC norms ~ Reg Ref Review Meeting dt. 04.03.2024 with all Hols under the chairmanship of Director, DHTE With weference to the subject cited, as decided in the review meeting cited in the reference, all the Head of the institutions have been given time to frame new syllabus in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) til 15.03.2024. Therefore it is informed that the Zoho portal has been made active for the Institutions to upload the class wise time table data as per the new syllabus. 2. Its also informed to follow the below instructions while updating the data in the portal 1 In the first instance, it is instructed to add faculties details using ‘Add Faculty Details’ under “Faculty Details’ tab and then the new subjects which need to be started due to the implementation of NEP shall be added using ‘Add new option’ in the subjects column under “Add courses’ tab in the portal |i. While updating the timetable using ‘Add Class Detail’ option under “Class Details” tab, the subject and the faculty name should be selected from the concerned drop down list only, tii, If there is no faculty available for a subject, the ‘vacant’ option shall be selected from the ‘Faculty’ drop down list and the department to which the subject pertains shall also be selected from the ‘Discipline’ drop down list iv. The sharing of single subject by multiple faculties is not permitted. ¥. In case of multiple subjects (in case of language papers) taken during the same period, the subjects shall be added in the subject list and faculties name shall be added in the faculty list in the Add Class Detail" option under “Class Details” tab itself. 2. Therefore, the Heads of Institution are instructed to update the required the data in the Portal on or before 12.04.2024 5.00 P.M.
