Patrolling Drones
Unfortunately, as of today, January 27, 2024, it is impossible to provide you with accurate facts and
statistics for crime against women in India specifically focused on rape cases for the year 2024.
This is because official data on crimes, including rape, typically takes several months or even years
in India from 2023 and previous years to give you a general understanding of the issue: ● National
to be compiled and released. However, I can share some of the latest available data on rape cases
Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) data: According to the NCRB’s 2023 report, a total of 31,677 rape
average of 86 rape cases being reported every single day in the country. ● State-wise variations:
cases were registered in India in 2022, reflecting an increase of 7.5% from 2021. This translates to an

important to note that the official data on rape cases in India likely underestimates the true extent
of the problem. Many rapes go unreported due to societal stigma, fear of reprisal, and lack of trust

Current Challenges
Traditional patrolling methods have limitations in

Role of Machine Learning
Phase 1:
Prototype Development (6 months)Objective: Develop a high-
fidelity prototype drone with all core functionalities.
Activities:
Hardware and software development. Algorithm training and
integration. Ground testing and refinement.
Phase 2:
Activities:
Manufacture and deploy 5 ABHAY drones. Develop and implement
communication infrastructure with police stations and command
center. User training and awareness campaigns. Data collection and
analysis for further refinement.
Phase 3:
Scalability and Expansion (6 months)
Objective: Based on pilot data, refine the system and expand
deployment to additional cities and urban areas.
Activities:
System optimization and scaling based on pilot feedback. Secure
funding for mass production and deployment. Partner with
government agencies and private stakeholders. Establish
comprehensive maintenance and support infrastructure.
The total estimated project cost is INR 3,500,000, staying within the
proposed budget. We prioritize cost-effective solutions while
maintaining performance and reliability. Utilizing open-source
software and locally manufactured components where possible.
Partnering with Indian drone manufacturers and technology
providers for competitive pricing. Exploring phased funding options
to align with development and deployment stages.
Implementation Considerations
Implementation Plan:
Phase 1 (3 months): Prototype development, testing, and
refinement of WSPDs, smart bands, and mobile app.
Potential Impact:
ABHAY is a timely and necessary project that addresses a critical social need. By
combining cutting-edge technology with a deep understanding of the Indian
context, we believe ABHAY can make a significant difference in the lives of millions
of women. We invite you to join us in this mission to create a safer and brighter
future for India.Note: This plan is a comprehensive guideline and can be adapted
based on specific requirements and funding availability. Continuous cost
monitoring and optimization will be crucial for successful project execution within
the designated budget. We believe ABHAY has the potential to become a
transformative initiative, not just for women’
