Flooding demands immediate Attention Talomo Davao City

Honorable Sebastian Baste Duterte,

Dear Mayor, Duterte

I am a concerned citizen of Davao City and I would like to talk about the
continued floods in Talomo and how it affects our community. The recent
flooding in our community has caused significant damage to property and
more importantly presents a major health risk for residents and visitors

Stagnant floods can act as breeding grounds for disease- carrying

mosquitoes, resulting in outbreaks of illnesses like dengue fever. Furthermore
flood have been contaminated with sewage and other pollutants hence
endangering our health. In addition, flooding of roads and infrastructure
prevents access to basic service and utilities,

Thank you for your attention to this subject. It is critical that we take
immediate measures towards ensuring that the safety of our community is
guaranteed as well as mitigating the risks posed by recurring flood in Talomo.
Consequently, I humbly appeal to you as my leader to put this matter first
among others by providing requisite initiatives as well as guidance in
addressing them successfully. I’ll be expecting your response.
