Herm island is one of the smallest of the Channel Islands – a group of islands in the
English Channel. The only way to reach it is by sea. It’s a 20-minute trip but it is against the
rules to ride a bike or drive a car!
You can walk the way round Herm in under two hours. The only sound you will hear
is the sheep in the fields and birds in the trees. There is one hotel without telephones,
