he Clouds that Danced like Jumping Foxes

A Short Story
by Mr Pseudonym

Casper Wilson looked at the minuscule teapot in his hands and felt concerned.

He walked over to the window and reflected on his hilly surroundings. He had always loved rural
New York with its determined, damp ditches. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel
concerned.

Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Kevin Parkes.
Kevin was a giving bear with curvaceous toes and curvaceous toenails.

Casper gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a remarkable, intuitive, beer drinker
with pretty toes and squat toenails. His friends saw him as a jealous, jittery juggler. Once, he had
even helped a damp toddler cross the road.

But not even a remarkable person who had once helped a damp toddler cross the road, was
prepared for what Kevin had in store today.

The clouds danced like jumping foxes, making Casper stressed.

As Casper stepped outside and Kevin came closer, he could see the fast glint in his eye.

"I am here because I want a resolution," Kevin bellowed, in a noble tone. He slammed his fist
against Casper's chest, with the force of 6902 lizards. "I frigging love you, Casper Wilson."

Casper looked back, even more stressed and still fingering the minuscule teapot. "Kevin, let's
move in together," he replied.

They looked at each other with jumpy feelings, like two kind, kindhearted kittens chatting at a
very admirable rave, which had jazz music playing in the background and two cold-blooded
uncles eating to the beat.

Suddenly, Kevin lunged forward and tried to punch Casper in the face. Quickly, Casper grabbed
the minuscule teapot and brought it down on Kevin's skull.

Kevin's curvaceous toes trembled and his curvaceous toenails wobbled. He looked anxious, his
body raw like a rough, ratty ruler.

Then he let out an agonising groan and collapsed onto the ground. Moments later Kevin Parkes
was dead.

Casper Wilson went back inside and made himself a nice drink of beer.
