Game Setup Put the storyboard on the table Put each player's hobbit marker on the zero space Pick a difficulty level for the Sauron marker. (15 easy, 12, or 10 hard) Group all the special cards [cards with a name] with their matching cards Putalll the Gandalf cards face up for purchase © Anytime players can spend 5 shields for a Gandalf card * Put 6 shields into a special face down pool (two of each 1s, 2s, and 3s) © When a player finishes the main track of any scenario they take a shield from this Poo! instead of just adding 1 shield. If there is no text setup the scenario board Turn Overview: Scenario Board: Each player does step 1 then step 2 turns go clockwise 1. Turn over an Event Tile. If the tile has 1 of the 4 Activity symbols: Move the marker 1 space along the matching Activity Line. Ix) i. Ifthere is no matching line of the board, move any activity marker 1 space, Continue to Step 2. Anything else: Perform the relevant actions and/or resolve the Event. Repeat Step 1. Move your Hobbit figure backwards 1 space on the corruption track You may discard unwanted cards, though this is rarely beneficial. Collect the symbols for every space pawns move over or land on in steps 1 and 2 End of Scenario: Either end of main track (Middle) or event track (Left Side) 1. Each player must have 1 of the Heart, Sun and Ring token, or else take 1 corruption for each symbol type they are missing. a. (exception: Merry takes 1 less corruption). 2. Whichever player has the most Ring tokens becomes the new Ring-bearer. Resolve ties clockwise from old Ring-bearer. (Old ring Bearer always loses) 3. The Ring-bearer and Fatty (if playing) both draw 2 Hobbit cards. 4, Return all Heart, Sun and Ring tokens to the available pool. 5. Move the marker to the next space on the Master Board. If this is a scenario, the Ring-bearer starts as the Active Player.
