FATEK PLC BASED DTC PROJECT

OBJECTIVE:
To Replace DTC based control system with Fatek PLC based control system, while having almost all
features of DTC for Yarn Dyeing Machine.

Old DTC based Control System includes:

1- DTC (7000, 7700 Hanbet)

2- LG Master Series PLC.

New Proposed Fatek PLC based Control system includes:

1- Fatek PLC (which contains all Control’s features of DTC and LG Master PLC)
2- Computer based Software (C# based, for Entering Recipe)

PROJECT DELIVERABLES:
1- Programmed Fatek PLC (containing control functions of DTC and Master PLC)
2- C# based Software for interfacing with 1 Nos. of Fatek (above mentioned) PLC for recipe and
other data entry.

Things out of Project Scope:

1- PLC procurement, Electrical wiring.

2- Any Mechanical related work/services.

PROJECT TIMELINE/PHASES:
1- Data collection and Requirement’s approval: Duration (60 Hours)
Phase 1.1 : Collection of Technical Data and requirements. (35 Hours)
Phase 1.2 : Finalization and written approval of requirements. (25 Hours)

2- Programming Phase: Duration (230 Hours)

Phase 2.1 : Programming of Fatek PLC for all control features of DTC and Master PLC. (150
Hours)
Phase 2.2 : Programming of Computer Software (C# based) for Recipe entry and HMI Display
functions. (50 Hours).
30 Hours may be required for outsource consultancy

3- Testing : Duration (50 Hours)

Phase 3 : Simulations and On-Site Testing. After every session, reports will be generated and
distributed accordingly, for tracing of Project’s Progress.

Total Hours for Project Completion (Estimated) : 340 Hours

Project Completion Duration (Estimated) : 03 Months after Phase 1. May vary due to Phase 3
(Testing) or modification in Project’s scope
