• Tournament Round 1
Rank Points (RP)
• Deckbuilding Round 2
• Tournament Round 2 Rank Point Tracker
• Deckbuilding Round 3 (if no Pre-Release)

• Final score is totaled by counting VP from collections, VP from tournaments, and 1VP per $4.
Deck Building Phase
1. Give each player 30 dollars and 6 cards from the store.
2. Reveal Elemental Meta.
3. Do actions for 7 minutes.
4. Deal 6 more cards and reveal Type Meta.
5. Do actions for 7 minutes.
6. Last call to sell cards.
7. Do actions for 6 minutes, except sell actions.
8. Cleanup. Count VP from sets. Loose cards go to player’s binder. Discard all aftermarket cards.
• Cards used for fusions and collections are removed from the game.
• Players place a sell marker on the stack the fuse card came from. The player cannot use fusion on that stack
for the rest of the current deckbuilding phase.
• The player that reveals a new card from the store has the first chance to buy it.
• Trades should be of equal value, combining star value and money.
• Players can only have one card of the same name in their deck.
Tournament Phase
1. The first player is the player who placed highest in the previous tournament.
2. Set the wooden cubes on the zeros of the rank point tracker.
3. On a player’s turn he or she must play a card and optionally take one action in any order. The player cannot
take the action if he or she cannot play a card.
• At the end of the tournament each player activates all Score effect in this order: face up cards in tableau from
left to right, deck box, accessories, and metagame cards.
• Award VP and prize support. If there are ties add up the VP for all places that tied and divide evenly.
• The metagame cards only activate once per player if that player has at least one card matching the meta.
• Face down cards count as cards but have no star rating, element, or type.
• “In play” is the same as “in tableau”.
• Complete the current effect before moving onto the next effect. For example, if an effect causes a card to flip
that has a Flip effect the current effect is resolved first, then the Flip effect is resolved.
• In an infinite loop occurs you are removed from the tournament. Score VP as though you won first place.
Clashing
All players involved in the clash combine the star value of their top card with the top card of the store deck starting
with the player that initiated the clash. Cards revealed from the store are placed into the aftermarket. If placing a
card in the Aftermarket causes the Aftermarket to contain more than 12 cards discard those cards and start anew.
Effects

General rules:

• Unless specified discarding a card goes from your hand to your binder.
• You must choose a legal target of an effect if able. If not you can ignore the effect.
• “This” refers to the card the effect is on. For example, the egg’s “this effect cannot be copied” is referring the
egg’s copy effect, not the effect of the card the egg is copying.
• Simultaneous effects resolve in this order: Top > Ongoing > Play > Next > Score. Reaction and Flip effects happen
immediately after the effect that triggered them.
• Once triggered the effect will happen. For example, when a card has a Play effect the Play effect triggers
immediately, thus even if a Top, Ongoing, or Reaction were the flip the card the Play effect will still occur.
• Effects are not optional, except for Reaction effects.
• Cards cannot be flipped back to face up. Reveal mean show the card and place it back face down.

• Play: Triggered immediately when a card comes into play. The card just played is considered “in tableau”.

• Top: Works as long the card is the top card. The top card is the right most face up card in the tableau.
