Childhood and Upbringing
George Washington Carver was born in 1864 in Diamond, Missouri
during the war. His mother Mary was a slave owned by Moses and
Susan Carver.

A week after his birth, George was kidnapped from the Carver farm,
along with his mother and his sister.
But when they were searching for them, they only found George left
by the side of the road. Later on, the Carver family raised George.
Struggles and barriers George Washington experienced
Stuff like paying for education and needs for him and the Carvers.
How George Washington Carver overcame these struggles and barriers
Then George worked really hard in high school to get into three
different colleges. George decided to go Iowa State to study botany.
George Washington Carver was the first person to invent 300 uses
for Peanuts.
