Sub:- Request for Payment of differential amount of Leave Encashment

Sir,

I am to submit that I retired from Himachal Pradesh Police Services as

Superintendent of Police / Commandant Home Guards, Civil Defense, Fire Services from Distt.
Mandi (H.P) on 31st May, 2021. At the time of my retirement the GOHP had not implemented
the recommendations of 6th Pay Commission and accordingly I had been paid my leave
encashment in pre-revised pay scales as sanctioned vide your letter no Karmik (Lekha)–B (3)-
HPPS-1/2002 dated 04-01-2021.

Now since the recommendations of 6 th pay commission have been

implemented by GOHP and also, the Finance (Regulations Department) vide their letter no
Fin( C)B(15)-11/2022- Loose dated 25-04-2023 have issued instructions to the Departments to
examine and settled the cases (of leave encashment) keeping in view the judgment of
Honorable High Court of Himachal Pradesh dated 01-12-2022 passed in CWP No 7359 of
2021 titled Amita Gupta vs. State of HP and others.

I, therefore request your good self to kindly examine and settled my case
for payment of differential amount of leave encashment at your earliest please.
