Favorite Film Score

One of my all time favorite sound track music is in the “Avatar” movie by James

Cameron. First, I want to say that all of the music in “Avatar" was breathtaking, I mean it

was really good. In the movie there were scenes of adventure, discovery, and war and in

every one of those scenes the music matches exactly with the scenes. If the scenes had

fast action the music was fast, if the scenes had slow action the music was slow. In the

movie there was a scene in which there was a battle between the Navi’s and the sky

people and I must say that the fast, loud, beating music matched so well with the battle

scene that it gave me goosebumps all over my arms literally. In fact every time I watch

the battle scene it gives me goosebumps because of how good the music is. The

instruments I hear in the music are violins, violas, flutes, trumpets, clarinets and for lower

and deep sounds I hear bassoon and a tuba. My favorite music in the movie was the scene

where the main character gets covered with the pure spirits of the forest. I have to say that

the music in that scene was absolutely sensational, it was soft and slow. Also I'm pretty

sure they used violins, violas, and flutes, since in that scene the music was high notes.

James Horner was the composer for the music in Avatar and I must say that he did an

absolutely amazing job. The “Avatar” movie was really good but with the music it had, I

must say it made the movie even better. I believe other people who have watched the
movie would 100% agree with me. This is why “Avatar” is one of my top favorite

soundtracks.
