OSH Hard
INTRODUCTION
Prioritize Worker Safety and Health: The primary goal is to create a safe and healthy work
environment for employees. This is achieved by identifying and eliminating hazards before they
cause harm, promoting safe work practices, and fostering a culture of safety.
Hazard identification and assessment are the foundation of any OSH program. Regular
inspections, with worker participation, help identify potential hazards before they cause
incidents. Utilize checklists and risk assessment tools to systematically evaluate hazards. The
scope should be comprehensive, encompassing ergonomic risks (repetitive motions, awkward
postures), chemical hazards (toxic substances), physical hazards (slips, trips, falls), and
biological hazards (viruses, bacteria)
