that the remote control is not preprogrammed to

Preparing the remote control

Remote control effective range
For optimum performance, aim the remote control directly at
the monitor and make sure there is no obstruction between the
remote control and the monitor.

POWER tums the monitor on and off. Press "%™ to turn
‘on the monitor. The red LED indicator on the monitor's
front panel will be illuminated, Press" again totum off
the monitor.
FREEZE freezes the picture. Press again to restore the
‘moving picture.
SLEEP accesses the sleep timer (sa page 38).
PIC SIZE cycles through the pictures sizes: Natural,
‘TheaterWide 1/2/3, Full, and 4:3 HD (ex page 26).
INPUT selects the video input source (ea page 25).
VOL +~adjusts the volume level.
PIC MODE selects the picture mode (page 29).
RECALL displays the monitor's setting information on-
screen (62 page 39).
(MUTE reduces or turns off the sound (e2" page 33).
Arrow buttons (AVP) When a menu is on-screen,
‘these buttons selector adjust programming menus.
ENTER activates highlighted items in the main menu
system.
(MENU accesses the main menu system (ea page 23).
EXIT closes on-screen menus.
MODE SELECT Switch switches between TV,
CABLE/SAT, DVD, and VCR modes (ex page 18). Setto
TV" to control the monitor.

Ifyou have a non-Toshiba device or @ Toshiba device that the
‘emote control is not preprogrammed to operate, you must first
program the remote control to recognize the device (if you,
‘have not already done so) (war pages 20-22).
‘To use your remote control to operate a:
+ Cable converter box or satellite receiver, set the MODE
SELECT Switch to CABLE/SAT.
+ DVD player or HTIB, set the MODE SELECT Switch to
Dvb.
+ VCR, set the MODE SELECT Switch to VCR.
\Note: Even after the remote contro is progrartmed, It may not
‘operate certain features on your other device, If this happens
land you wish to use those features, you will need to usa the
device's original remote control
