INSTRUCTIONS

court should grant the request.
3. You must serve the motion upon the opposing party or his/her attorney, and
provide reasonable notice of a hearing on the motion.
4. There are several commonly used motions in this forms book. The Florida
Supreme Court has provided many approved motions for some of the most
common Family Law requests. They should be used whenever possible.
These forms are available at www.flcourts.gov, and may be available at the
clerk’s office.
5. All motions and the procedures surrounding the motions are NOT the same.
Pay special attention to the instructions and the motion’s requirements.
