Practice 4-1: Creating an Integration Using a SOAP Trigger Interface
Overview
This lab practice guides you through the process of creating a complete integration
implementation to include the required connection components. The practice shows you how to:
Create a SOAP trigger integration flow using the App Driven Orchestration style
Integrate with a SOAP-based web service
Map data elements for the service invocation as well as the response
Activate and test the integration flow
Monitor an integration flow instance
The flow that you build will utiize a simple synchronous request-response pattern. A test SOAP
client application will serve as a client to OIC, issuing a request to retrieve data from a target
application via OIC and then blocks to wait for a response.
