Improving the Outer West for all This year, the school charity the Friends of Walbottle has been
raising money to install a 3G multi-sport playing pitch in the grounds of Walbottle Campus, with the
aim to create a new state of the art sports hub for students at Walbottle and the surrounding
communities. To celebrate this year’s community projects, the school is hosting a community
showcase event featuring student exhibitions and performances, stalls by community groups and
clubs and light refreshments. Members of the community are invited to the event at Walbottle
