STATEMENT OF JURISDICTION

The memorial herein submits to the jurisdiction of the Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum,
{jurisdiction_name}, as conferred by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, to hear and decide upon the disputes
pertaining to defective products and deficiency in service under Section {relevant_section} of the Act.

SUMMARY OF FACTS

That Ms. Maya, the petitioner, purchased a brand-new refrigerator from Cooltronics Ltd., which malfunctioned
within a month. Despite a technician's diagnosis and promise of replacing the faulty compressor, Cooltronics
failed to do so. Additionally, Cooltronics provided no assistance when contacted again, leading Maya to incur
repair costs herself. She filed a complaint seeking reimbursement, replacement, and compensation for mental
harassment and inconvenience.

- That under Section 2(11) of the CPA, 2019, the failure by Cooltronics to replace the faulty compressor

under Section 2(47) of the CPA, 2019.
