FAIPS(DPS)’s Aquatic Glory– Arnav Nishant Kumbhare In a display of exceptional talent and

single –minded dedication, Arnav Nishant Kumbhare, a young, grade 8th student of Fahaheel
Al-Watanieh Indian Private School (DPS), Kuwait, has emerged as a shining star in the realm
of swimming, bagging a gold medal and a silver medal at the prestigious CBSE National
School Games held in India. This remarkable achievement is a testament to his spirit and
determination of this budding athlete, which has set a new benchmark for excellence in the
sport. Rooted in FAIPS (DPS) since Kindergarten, Arnav has always harboured a deep passion
for swimming, dedicating countless hours honing his skills and perfecting various techniques.
His tireless efforts have paid off dividends, enabled him to excel in various competitions and
to showcase his prowess in the pool. At the recently concluded CBSE National School Games,
Arnav rose to the occasion, leaving an indelible mark on the tournament. In the gruelling
100-meter freestyle event, he displayed remarkable speed and agility, securing the coveted
gold medal. His success continued in the 200-meter freestyle category, where he clinched a
well-deserved silver medal. These remarkable achievements have not only brought laurels to
the School but have also ignited a wave of inspiration among fellow students and aspiring
athletes. Arnav has become an embodiment of the school's motto, "Service before self,"
demonstrating that, with dedication and perseverance even the most ambitious dreams can
be realized. Felicitating Arnav, along with his proud parents, the school principal, Mr. Ravi
Ayanoli, expressed immense pride in Arnav’s accomplishments and stated that he is an
exceptional talent who has set new standards in swimming in schools in Kuwait. He also
stated that Arnav’s dedication and passion are a source of inspiration for everyone. The
