Chapter #14 Survey-journal

Based on my survey Score is:

Individualism: 28

collectivism: 42

Individualists on teams gain from their capacity to work independently and focus on personal
goals, which may result in new and creative solutions. Individualists, on the other hand, may
struggle to collaborate and compromise with others, and they may emphasize their personal
demands over team requirements.

Collectivists, on the other hand, may thrive at teamwork and prioritizing collective success over
individual accomplishments. However, they may have difficulties making decisions and
establishing their own beliefs and ideas.

There might be differences in the levels of individuality and collectivism among the people in
my team, which can have advantages and disadvantages. Respecting and understanding one
another's cultural origins and viewpoints is crucial for team members.

Collaborating in groups with individuals from a highly collectivist culture might bring some
difficulties, such difficulty making decisions and possible conflicts between individual and
collective priorities. To collaborate well, it's critical to maintain open lines of communication
and strike a balance between the requirements of the group and each person. I will make note
these values to use in my own team as well.
