PHILIPS 1 Scope ‘These instuctions describe the steps toinstl software on an AFFINITI 2, 50 and 70 system, This uparade consists of nstaling sftare from a factory programmed USB flash dive NOTE: The SW installation will enable the OmniSphere feature. OmniSphere vill not work ifthe system also has the Government Secunly feature mstalled. Government Securty disables all remote access tothe system, NOTE: Following the software upgrade, Afni 70 systems with PercuNav may notice a delay (approximately one minute) when starting up a PercuNay feature forthe frst me. The Afni 70 system is checking fr the correct frmware, and then updating the frnware, if needed. The system wil display a diag box with progress information. BEFORE YOU ARRIVE al the customer site, ask your customer to save, to customer provided mesa, any patient images or exam studies tha they will want to reload for review fllowing the upgrade. Once fils are exported and imported, images are no longer available for editing, and can only be reviewed. ‘Saving patient datas ume consuming and may add hours to the upgrade process. 11. The flowchart above shows the main sections ofthis upgrade. The estimated time to complete all sections is 140 2 hours, IMPORTANT! ifthe system has the SafeGuard feature (enables Whitelisting), allow at least an additional 45 minutes to complete the upgrade. 2.
