I. Introduction

Thesis Statement: Bullying contributes as one of the largest contributor as to

why people commit suicide.

Social Media is a huge platform that can be used in many ways,

although there is a huge percentage of good people on the internet there is also

an almost equal amount of bad people that tend to make fun of easy targets on

media platforms and in those platforms are usually kids aging from 10-14

years old that are vulnerable and exposed to internet predators that enjoy

cyberbullying and leaving nasty comments on their accounts just for

entertainment. According to an article online it is indicated there that suicide

is the third leading cause of death among young people which results to

approximately 4,400 deaths per year just because of bullying. Bully-related

suicide can be connected to any type of bullying including, emotional

bullying, physical bullying, cyberbullying and etc. Knowing that the internet

is different type of world you can infer that Social Media actually contributes

to the reasons why kids and grown adults commit or attempt suicide.
