This training camp aims to prepare Scoutmasters to be well-rounded individual leaders capable of navigating life's challenges, while instiling a sense of responsibility and community contribution. Scoutmasters are taught not only how to survive but also how to thrive while respecting nature and their fellow citizens. The spirit and life of scouting emanates from the youth. They are the key factor and primordial source of strength in scouting. Therefore, this training aims to develop unit leaders skills and knowledge in scouting as front liners. The skills and techniques that they learn and acquired in this training will surely cascaded to the youth as they are the precious gem in building the nation. Likewise,it particularly aims the Skill Enhancement to refresh and enhance the existing knowledge of skills of Unit Leaders. This ensures that they remain well-prepared to face various survival situations from the basic outdoor skills to more advanced techniques. Moreover, it serves as an opportunity to revisit and reinforce essential scouting skills, ensuring that knowledge acquired in previous training remains relevant and applicable. Participants will gain life skills such as leadership, teamwork, problem solving and adaptability which are applicable in various situations through out their lives. Jamboree on the Air (JOTA), and Jamboree on the Intemet (JOTI) is the world’s largest digital and radio Scouts event, taking place every year over the third full weekend of October. Its a great chance for groups and sections to take part in an international Jamboree. It’s organised by the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). Taking part from all over the world, thousands of Scouts join in either on the internet or over amateur radios. They get involved in lots of activities and learn about each other’s countries. Moreover, the purpose of JOTA-JOTI is to enable and encourage Scouts around the world to ‘communicate with one another by means of amateur radio and the intemet, providing a fun and educational Scouting experience and promoting their sense of belonging to a Worldwide ‘Scout Movement. Through advancement, Scouts are rewarded for each achievement. which helps them gain self-confidence.
