Conferences March 26-27

Dear Parents/Guardians:
The students of Ernie Studer School are busy preparing for student-led conferences. Our
Conferences are scheduled for March 26th and 27th from 4:30pm-7:00pm.

Online bookings will open at 9am Monday, March 18th

If these times do not work for you, we ask that you call your child’s teacher to book another
time. Students will be completing conference reflections and we would like them to have the
conference completed before April 12th.

The Student Led Conference is an opportunity for your child to present their progress and goals
to you. Teachers will be assisting students as they plan and rehearse for their conference. We
believe that students are truly empowered and their future success can be attained when they
are accountable for their work, reflect and communicate on their progress, and set learning
goals for themselves. As parents or family members, we ask that you focus on the learning
process (not just grades), recognize your children’s achievements, ask them questions when
information shared is unclear, and work with them to help achieve their goals for future
success.

• K and Gr 1 parents, you will have a different set of booking instructions coming.
• Gr 2- 6 parents, please book with your child’s homeroom teacher
• Gr 7-12 parents, please converse with your child about what subject/class
they are preparing for and create a booking based on that.
If you would like to discuss “other topics” regarding your child with teachers, we ask that you to
set up an appointment for an alternate date with the teacher as times are quite limited over
these two evenings and conferences are only 15 minutes long. The scheduled times are for
Student Led Conferences only.

Online bookings will open starting March 18th at 9am. The entire process is fast
and simple…
Step 1 – Go to http://www.schoolbookings.net or simply “Google” School Bookings.Net
Step 2 – Click “Make a booking”. Enter the event code gv42e in the event code box.
Step 3 – Enter your full name and your e-mail, contact information how many students
you wish to book for and press “Go”
Step 4 – Enter the name of the student(s) you wish to book for.
Step 5 – Choose the subject/teacher of the class/grade your child is preparing for.
Step 6 – Choose your times.
Step 7 – Check your email for confirmation of your dates and times. (If you don’t see the
emails, they may be in your “spam” folder)

your screen or call the school (306 837 2025)
If you don’t have access to a computer or the internet, please call the teacher(s) your
child is prepping for, and they can help you with the booking.
