Fake friend

She was standing there shocked, opening her eyes every second not wanting to believe

it. But she had to face the evidence: she had indeed heard her best friend plot against her with

her worst enemy.

Tiana was the typical perfect teenage girl. She was nice, studious, and always ready to help

someone in need. She had the perfect family with wealthy and famous parents and an older

brother who discouraged every boy who wanted to approach her. Every single person in her

high school wanted to be friends with her but she already had a best friend: Tracy. Everyone

wanted to be at her place, but apparently, she didn’t want this.

It was an afternoon after school, Tiana had to get home quickly because she had to prepare

herself because the next day, she will start officially an internship to learn how to manage her

father’s business. However, when she was about to leave the institution, she noticed that she

had forgotten her phone in her classroom. So, she turned around to get her handset back.

Arriving at about 10 meters besides the toilette she began to hear voices that sounded like an

argument. The closer she got to the classroom the more she recognized these voices. It was

Tracy and Lexie aka the girl who hated Tiana the most. And then she heard this sentence and

that was the turning point:

“You know how much I hate Tiana. I would never betray you. I can do anything to

destroy her Lexie.”

Even if at first, she felt betrayed and offended by listening her best friend beg the person who

hurt her the most in her life like this. She quickly went from disappointment to anger.

Not wanting to hear more, she passed her way and picked up her phone.

The next day, Tiana completely ignored Tracy.

“Nana, what is your problem? Did I do something wrong?”

And it was like that all day, Tracy trying to communicate with Tiana, and she wasn’t even

looking at her. But when Tracy saw Tiana sympathise with her worst enemy, she couldn’t

stand it.

“What are you playing at?! Aren’t you tired of being such a kid?! Don’t you think

you’re going too far there, go sympathise with-

“Don’t even dare to reproach me something you do yourself.” she said coldly.

They parted and did not speak again after this last interaction.

Months passed and their relationship evolved. If at first, she didn’t care, Tracy, not handling

to see Tiana happy, began to throw spades to her which became more and more frequent. But

Tiana did not let it happen, they even almost fought. They had become enemies, they hated

each other to the highest point. It had become so violent between them that they were

forbidden to be both in the same room.

“The plan works perfectly. Soon we will be rich, bestie!”

On this winter day, Stormy, Tiana’s new best friend to come with her somewhere in the city

because she had to give something to one of her cousins.

They had arrived in the northern district of the city in a dead end next to a convenience store.

“Hold this for a few minutes please, I’m coming.”

In a few minutes Tiana had found herself in a quiet street, a purse in her hands that were

freezing in the cold and with a very bad feeling.

Suddenly she saw a group of men dressed in black approaching her. They did not advance too

much but just enough so that they could see his face and observe him in every detail. They
stayed at least 5 minutes like this before leaving silently.

When Stormy came back Tiana was still stunned by shock and scared by what had happened.

“If you make a face like this, you’ll scare all the boys away.” laughed Stormy.

After this event the teenager was constantly anxious that they would come and kidnap her.

But a week after Lexie went reported missing. The police questioned her and put her in

custody. Everyone suspected her because she was the worst enemy of the missing person.

Tiana was cleared and they let her return home.

“The last part of the plan can start now.”

Months passed and one day the teenager received a mysterious letter with a picture.

SEND 2,000,000,000 $ TO THIS ADRESS OR I WILL SEND THIS BAG TO THE

POLICE!!

The bag in the picture was the same as the one that Stormy had asked Tiana to hold last time.

And Tiana thought that it was a joke from Stormy.

“Hahaha! Nice joke Stormy”

But Stormy never replied to this message.

Tomorrow very early in the morning someone knocked at her door.

“You’re under arrest for kidnapping, we found Lexie’s purse she was wearing just

before we disappeared with your fingerprints.”
