STEP TWO: THREE SITUATIONS OF KINDS OF EMPATHY

COGNITIVE: When my coworker's grandmother passed away, she was working

at the time due to the impact of the news, she left the business like crazy and got on the
motorcycle but she could not hold it and went to the ground giving herself a blow without
caring about what had happened to her, she went home running, she was crying and left
the motorcycle on the ground lying and turned on, I did not understand the reason for
this reaction and I started to think that if the same thing happened to me I would react
like that or it would be different. The thing is that for me this situation was alien to me
since I never met the lady and the pain was only felt by her and I went on with my
normal day.

EMOTIONAL: My cousin gave us the news that she was pregnant, we all
rejoiced at the news and anxiously awaited the new member of the family and I
remembered the feeling I felt when I got pregnant and all the difficult situations I had to
face such as depression, the threat of abortion and the problems with the father of my
child who did not want to answer for him. I am so happy for her and for her stability.

COMPASSION: When a cousin of my father has his wife hospitalized in a

terminal cancer clinic she was very sick and just wanted to see her daughter who at that
time was very small, but my father's cousin was a person with few resources and had no
money for tickets because they were very expensive, between several people we
collaborated so that the girl could see her mother, the lady was very happy to see her
daughter said goodbye to her and her husband crying and the next day she died.
