Agreement for Employment, made this 2/13/2024 between RRSC, Inc. d.b.a. Trail’s End Camp (the
“Camp”), and Gael Lara Corona as a (the “Camp Counselor”). The Camp and the Camp Counselor shall
hereinafter, at times, be referred to together as the “Parties.”
1.
Camp hereby hires the aforesaid Camp Counselor and the Camp Counselor hereby agrees to enter the
Camp’s employ for the 2024 season, beginning from the date of camp embarkation on 6/17/2024 and
ending on 8/18/2024 (hereinafter referred to as the “Camp Season”).

2.
Camp Counselor agrees to perform all of the duties of a Camp Counselor as may be assigned by the
Camp during the Camp Season; to cooperate fully with other camp counselors and staff members; to
devote his or her full time and attention to camp duties; to exert their best efforts to maintain the
morale, dignity and reputation of the Camp and to comply with all camp rules and regulations,
including such Camp Curfew as may be fixed and determined by the Camp. Camp Counselor agrees to
attend staff meetings at times, which are set forth by the Camp.

3.
Camp agrees to pay Camp Counselor the sum of $1500 “base salary” for said services, which shall
become due and payable at the termination of the Camp Season, and the additional sum of $500 which
shall become due only if said Camp Counselor completes the entire Camp Season; provided, however,
that if, for any reason whatsoever, the Camp Season shall be terminated prior to the official closing
thereof, or if the Camp, in its sole discretion, shall find the services of the Camp Counselor
unsatisfactory, this agreement may, at the sole discretion of the Camp, be terminated, without further
notice as if that were the termination date thereof, and said Camp Counselor shall only be entitled to
receive a pro-rata portion of the base salary which shall be calculated based on the actual time of
service.

4.
As a part of the consideration for the base salary and the additional amount to be paid as aforesaid, the
Camp Counselor agrees to attend orientation training from 6/17/2024 to 06/27/2024.

5.
Camp Counselor shall be entitled to a travel allowance, (detailed by the reimbursement policy) only if
the Camp Counselor completes the entire camp season. The allowance shall then be paid at the end of
the camp season only if receipts are submitted.

6.
Camp Counselor agrees that there will be a $75 Administrative Fee deducted from their salary, which
is put toward laundry, uniform and local staff trips.

7.
Camp Counselor will be responsible to follow any and all camp protocols that Camp may, in its sole
discretion, establish with respect to Covid-19 including requiring a negative test prior to arrival and
vaccination(s), if available. Camp shall notify Counselors of the Covid-19 Protocols within 15 days
prior to the start of this contract.

8.
Camp Counselor expressly covenants and agrees that for a period of three (3) years after the
termination of this agreement, they will not in any manner, either directly or indirectly, solicit or
canvas, or assist any person directly or indirectly to solicit or canvas, any campers, staff or patrons of
the Camp for the purpose of inducing such campers or patrons to become interested in or to become
campers or patrons of any other camp or similar entity located within 300 miles of Camp.

9.
If, for any reason, the Camp does not operate for the Camp Season, this agreement shall be declared
voided, and shall not be binding upon the Parties, and the Parties hereto shall be discharged and
released from any obligation hereunder.

10.
The Camp will not be responsible for any injury or illness suffered by Camp Counselor unless in
performance of camp duties and within the Workmen’s Compensation Law of the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania.

11.
Camp Counselor fully understands that while the term of their employment shall only be as stated
above, the Camp Counselor’s responsibilities shall extend throughout the year with respect to the items
addressed in this paragraph. Camp Counselor agrees that as condition to their employment, they will
not have any contact outside of the Camp Season with any camper of Camp in any manner including,
but not limited to texting, calls, posts or comments on any camper web page, social media page, blog,
or the like, including, but not limited to, “Facebook”, “Twitter” and “Instagram.” Furthermore, Camp
Counselor agrees to not post on the web any pictures or video that include images of Camp and its
campers. Failure to adhere to the provisions in this paragraph may result in immediate termination of
this contract and Camp shall be entitled to monies from any damages or losses that may occur as the
result of Camp Counselor failing to abide by this provision.

12.
Camp Counselor acknowledges that they are entitled to a certain amount of personal time off at which
time they may be permitted to leave camp property. During these times, Camp Counselor agrees that
they are not acting in the course of their employment. Camp Counselor further acknowledges and
understands that certain activities and locations away from camp come with certain inherent risks that
Camp Counselor may not be familiar with, and that Camp Counselor accepts those risks on their own
behalf.

13.
It is agreed that any dispute or cause of action arising between the parties, whether out of this
agreement or otherwise, can only be brought in the Wayne County Courthouse, located in Wayne
County Pennsylvania and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Pennsylvania.

14.
Camp Counselor agrees that Camp is not obligated to discuss the terms of this contract, including but
not limited to termination or resignation, with anyone other than the staff member themself.

15.
Nothing contained in this contract shall be construed to alter the “at-will” relationship between Camp
Counselor and Camp.

16.
Camp Counselor shall notify Camp of any reasonable accommodations that they may require within 15
days of the signing of this contract.

17.
Camp Counselor shall be issued a Staff Manual prior to the start of camp. Camp Counselor has read the
Staff Manual and agrees to abide by its terms. Camp Counselor understands that the Staff Manual may
change from time to time and Camp shall alert Camp Counselor of said changes.

18.
This agreement is not a guarantee of employment for any specified time. If for any reason Camp
does not open, opens at a later date or closes at an earlier date, of if due to low enrollment Camp
decides, in its sole discretion, that a Camp Counselor’s services are no longer required, Camp
Counselor will be paid on a pro-rata basis for days actually worked, including orientation. In any
such instance Camp will not be responsible for any additional costs of travel, food or lodging that
Camp Counselor may incur.

Camp Counselor agrees to be bound by the following “Regulations for Staff” and agrees to observe the
performance thereof.
1.
Camp Counselor must be dressed neatly at all times. Official Camp uniform must be worn from
7:30am to 5:00pm every day and/or at other times the Camp may require of the Camp Counselor.

2.
Camp is a non-smoking facility. SMOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED ANYWHERE ON
CAMP PROPERTY AND GROUNDS FOR TERMINATION, this includes, but not limited to
vapes and pens.

3.
Possession or use of any controlled substance or alcoholic beverages on Camp grounds, or returning to
Camp in an inebriated condition, will result in immediate dismissal. Furthermore, any Camp
Counselor under the age of 21 found to be in an establishment solely serving alcohol will also be
immediately dismissed from duty.

4.
Camp Counselor may be permitted, at times, to leave Camp after evening activity, and return at curfew
(see below), if they do not have an “On Duty” (O.D.) assignment. Camp Counselor is required to make
sure their assigned bunk is covered before signing out for the night.

5.
Camp Counselor will have a curfew that will be assigned by the Camp. Curfew will be strictly enforced
and failure to adhere to curfew may result in termination of employment. After curfew the Camp
Counselor must be in their assigned bunk. Special requests for extended curfew may be requested of
the Camp.

6.
Camp Counselor is entitled to days off during the summer. Camp Counselor will be assigned their day
off by the Camp. Days off start at 7:30 am and end at curfew. Camp facilities may be used if available.

7.
Camp Counselor may be permitted to have visitors only on their days off. Camp Counselor must
receive prior approval from the Camp for said visits.

8.
Swimming or boating after dark is strictly prohibited. It is also prohibited when a lifeguard is not on
duty and the pool and lake are closed.

9.
Domestic based Camp Counselors are required to bring sheets, towels, pillow cases, pillows and
blankets for their own use. Camp Counselor will be issued a laundry bag for their use during the term
of this contract. Domestic Counselors will be charged a $25 security deposit on the date of issuance
which shall be returned to said Camp Counselor once the issued laundry bag is collected at the end of
the contract. Camp Counselor is aware that the security deposit will be returned only if the laundry bag
is in working order (i.e. no stains, tears, etc.).

10.
International based Camp Counselors will be issued towels, pillows, blankets and a laundry bag for
their use during the term of this contract. International Camp Counselors will be charged a $75 security
deposit on the date of issuance which shall be returned to said Camp Counselor once the issued items
are collected at the end of the contract. Camp Counselor is aware that the security deposit will be
returned only if the items are in working order (i.e. no stains, tears, etc.). International statff MUST
bring sheets (twin) and pillow cases.

11.
Camp Counselors living with campers will be charged a $75 housing security deposit on the date of
arrival which shall be returned to said Camp Counselor once their assigned housing is inspected at the
end of the contract. Camp Counselor is aware that the security deposit will only be returned if said
housing is left broom clean and all furniture and fixtures are in good working order.

12.
Camp Counselors not living with campers will be charged a $200 housing security deposit on the date
of arrival which shall be returned to said Camp Counselor once their assigned housing is inspected at
the end of the contract. Camp Counselor is aware that the security deposit will only be returned if said
housing is left broom clean and all furniture and fixtures are in good working order.

13.
There will be a camp doctor and nurses available for the Camp Counselor should they need such
assistance. No medication or drugs will be issued to a Camp Counselor except by written permission of
the Camp. All medication or drugs must be kept in the staff medicine cabinet in the health center.

14.
Camp Counselor must register with the Camp any car brought to camp. Camp Counselor must park
their car in such parking areas as designated by the Camp. Camp Counselors may not use their cars to
transport campers.

15.
Camp Counselor may not enter the bunks of the opposite gender without the express permission of the
Camp.

16.
Camp Counselor recognizes that the Camp is a peanut free facility and understands that the well-being
of our entire community is based on everyone working to ensure that nothing containing nuts, or made
in a facility with nuts, is located on Camp property. Camp Counselor’s failure to abide by this rule is a
violation of this Employment Agreement and Camp may terminate said Counselor.

17.
Camp Counselor should check their valuables in their assigned lock box or in a lockable unit in their
room. Camp assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged items belonging to Camp
Counselor.

18.
Camp is hereby granted permission to use any individual or group photographs taken at camp showing
Camp Counselor in camp activities for public relations purposes.

19.
Camp Counselor must submit to the Camp, before June 1st, evidence of complete medical examination
by their own physician on the Camp Employee Medical Form.
