Institute, and her hatred and jealousy at the Lady is unveiled.
Resolution The Princess was shown deep in thought for days before the trial, and the ending is not revealed by the
Narrator, but instead asks the reader on which door they believe she chose.

Type of Conflict The conflict is External because the Princess struggled for days in choosing which door to signal to her

save the young man’s life but losing their relationship in return.

Omniscient I believe it is Omniscient because the narrator talks in-depth about the Princess’ thoughts and actions, but
does not only talk about her.

Consequences The story’s theme focuses on consequences; It gives the reader a special reminder to be discerning of one’
choices, and to heed the gamble of whether man’s decisions will give peril or happiness

Responsibility I learned that I should consider my actions and to be responsible,and to not repeat the courtier’s mistake of
not being honest to the King, especially in a situation where telling the truth was his obligation.
