Ultrasound is a sound wave beyond the audible frequency.

Owing
to technological development, the extent of use of ultrasound in
orthopaedics is expanding. Ultrasound is produced by a
piezoelectric effect and matter is requires for propagation.
According to the characteristics of matter, the velocity of
propagation differs and the images are the overall result of the
interaction of reflection, refraction, absorption, scattering,
transmission, and attenuation.

An ultrasonic sensor is an electronic device that measures the distance

of a target object by emitting ultrasonic sound waves, and converts the
reflected sound into an electrical signal. Ultrasonic waves travel faster
than the speed of audible sound (i.e. the sound that humans can hear).
Ultrasonic sensors have two main components: the transmitter (which
emits the sound using piezoelectric crystals) and the receiver (which
encounters the sound after it has travelled to and from the target).

The reason we can hear sound is because it is transmitted using

waves in the air. However, the reason why we cannot hear in
water is because the density of water is high, so we cannot hear
it. To put it simply, we cannot find the direction of sound because
it is much higher than the frequency of sound that humans can
hear. It is not audible to our ears because it is dispersed.

The solution we came up with is to use the same principle as dolphins.

Dolphins use ultrasound to determine the distance between landmarks and
creatures. Then we're going to use the machine. The name of the machine we
will be using is Ultrasonic Sensor. This ultrasonic sensor measures the
distance and transmits it as sound and shows the distance through the screen.
But in the water, we can't see the screen, so we can know the distance of the
object through the sound. And with today's technology, you can hear sound
from the front and back, not just from the sides, which can be very useful.
The name of this technology is surround technology.
