Hypotheses

I predict that lemon juice is more acidic, green tea is less acidic

Because:
-Lemon water contains a lot of citrate

-Because of the high vitamin C content in lemon water, the high vitamin C content in lemon
water will cause the lemon water to sour

-Because the acidity of bud tea is relatively weaker than that of leaf tea, that is, the more
tender the tea leaves are, the weaker the acidity is, and the older the tea leaves are, the
stronger the acidity is. Meanwhile, the longer the tea fermentation time, the more acidic the
tea soup, the lower the ph value.

Material and method

Material quantity Material quantity

apple juice 1 dropper 5

lemon juice 1 ph meter 1

green tea 1 bule litmus paper 5

grape juice 1 red litmus paper 5

coffee 1 universal indirator 5

test tude 5

Method

1.pour 10ml of each drink into a test tube

2.then use a test tube to drop separately blue litmus paper, red litmus paper, universal
industor
3.ues ph meter to check
4.to calibrate
5.ouffer-ph 4,ph 7
6.distilled water
Clean the laboratory equipment before doing the experiment. Drop the liquid in the test tube
onto different strips of paper, one for each liquid. After finishing a liquid, wash the ph meter
with hydrogen peroxide before measuring the next liquid.

*The risks I cover are: the effects of the liquid on the human skin and the calibration of the
ph meter, and finally a cleaning of the dropper

—My solution was to put on gloves and run the ph meter in a liquid that determined ph.
Finally, different droppers are used to test different liquids

Conclusion

-According to my experiments, lemon juice is the sourest. And it turns out that the lower the
ph, the higher the acidity. In the experiment, liquid from various test tubes is dropped on a
test paper. From the surface, the darker the color. The lower the ph, the higher the acidity
-As I predicted, I predicted that the higher the acidity of the lemon juice, the lower the acidity
of the green tea. Because on the ph strip, lemon juice is the darkest. Its value was also
measured by ph meter.

-Through this experiment, I also found my bad and good places and improvements
•I think what we did well was we did it exactly the way it was done and it didn't lead to too
much error. Safety concerns are also considered
•The bad part is the control variable
•What can be changed is the need to improve their understanding and method.
