Cybersecurity Team Structure: 7 Important Roles & Responsibilities

Questions:

1. What is the article all about?

- The article is all about the responsibilities and roles that a cybersecurity team must do or
remember when doing their task to prevent such us cybersecurity issue/threats and sensitive
data exposure. It’s also talk about that each member of the team should have understanding
and learnings about cybersecurity.

2. Among the (7) roles and responsibilities of cybersecurity structure, which one do you think is
the most important?
- For me, the most important among the seven is the role number 5 which is the Risk
Mitigation, it is important to know how to mitigate a risk, example what if an unauthorized
person access your accounts like social media or some private accounts and of course, as a
person who know how to mitigate it, you use strong/unique password and enable a two-
factor authentication. This reduce the risk of unauthorized access even if your password is
compromised.

3. Do you agree with the article? Why or why not?

- Yes, it is important to understand and to apply this roles and responsibilities when it comes
in cybersecurity. It help us to be more careful and being able to express our skills and to
communicate with other teams regarding in cybersecurity industry. This is also important
because without proper knowledge about cybersecurity measure, personal information,
financial data, and even critical infrastructure can be at risk.
