responsibilities, facing difficulties at work or home, experiencing a traumatic event, or going
through major life changes When we encounter stress, our body produces stress hormones
that trigger a fight or flight response and activate our immune system, helping us respond
quickly to dangerous situations.Signs and symptoms of stress
Stress can manifest in different ways and affect both our physical and mental health. Some
common signs and symptoms of stress include changes in mood, difficulty sleeping, digestive
problems, headaches, muscle tension, decreased sex drive, racing heartbeat, trembling, and
frequent sickness It's important to note that stress affects individuals differently, and our
ability to cope with stress can depend on various factors such as genetics, early life events,
personality, and social and economic circumstances.
