In the early hours of a November morning in 2014, my mother's urgent voice pierced through

the dim light, stirring me from sleep. "Clara, get up, we are going on a trip today!" My mind raced
with excitement, envisioning adventures with my cousins by the beach. But fate had a different
plan for us.

As we departed the bus station, the unfamiliar scenery outside hinted at a new beginning.
Confusion gnawed at me as I turned to my mother for clarity. "This is our new city, baby," she
said softly. "We are going to see Daddy at home." Despite the disappointment of not heading to
the coast, the anticipation of reuniting with my father fueled my spirits.

Our transition to Esperantinopolis wasn't easy, but the laughter shared with newfound friends,
Evandra and Brenda, provided solace. Our bond strengthened over games of volleyball and
sweet treats at the local plaza, creating cherished memories.

A turning point came during a visit to Evandra's house when a television show captured my
imagination. Characters from Austin and Ally spoke in a language foreign yet intriguing. With
guidance from my father, I delved into the world of 114's Channel, eagerly awaiting my return
from school to indulge in its offerings.

Despite initial struggles, I embraced English as more than a subject, but as a gateway to new
horizons. Inspired by Evandra's dedication, I immersed myself in the language, finding joy in its
nuances through music, TV, and movies.

In the 10th grade, I seized an opportunity to give back by teaching English to underprivileged
children. With nerves but determination, I embarked on this journey, supported by my loved
ones. The experience was both challenging and fulfilling, leaving an indelible mark on my heart.

Reflecting on my journey, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunities that have shaped me.
Moving forward, I am committed to making a positive impact, fueled by the joy of seeing others
smile. Each encounter enriches my understanding of the world, igniting a curiosity to learn and
grow.

In the tapestry of life, it is our experiences that define us. As I continue to explore the world, I
am excited for the adventures that lie ahead.
