EXPERIENCE AppDynamics (Cisco) - SDE2 July 2021 - Present

Part of the Data platform team responsible for processing OpenTelemetry data at scale.
Developed micro-services which ingests, parses and enriches telemetry data (metrics,
events, logs and traces) at large volumes all while providing high throughput and low
processing latency. Also designed and delivered a brand new component Codex from
scratch which makes the data processing extensible by providing extension points to
1st, 2nd and 3rd party developers thus enabling to customize processing logic at run-
time.

Amazon - Intern Jan 2021 - July 2021

Worked with a team which provides proxy server as a service to multiple business
critical downstream services. During my time with the team, worked on building and
improving main requirements of a proxy server like Rate limiting, Throttling, Request
filtering which helps a proxy service to remain highly available and fault tolerant all
while supporting high throughput and very low latency. Got a chance to explore open
source technology like Envoy with Java as the base tech stack. Built and delivered
features like Overload manager and Load shedding lever from scratch
